"Tell us." The thick, raspy voice whispered in my ear, sending tingles down my spine.

"I d-don't know anything." I stuttered, struggling against the restraints around my ankles and wrists. The metal was cold against my sweaty skin and the cuffs were rubbing my wrists raw as I jerked.

"Tell us!" Another voice cackled, seemingly close by.Despite the quietness of the things tone of voice, the words echoed throughout the dark room and would be forever etched into my brain.

"Tell you what?!" I cried in response, rapidly blinking my eyes, desperately trying to adjust them to the darkness. My pupils were dilated to an unbelievable size. I could hear foot steps slapping against the round, pacing about the room ,but I couldn't pinpoint there location as they were moving to fast. "Hello?" I called out, wincing as my own voice ripped through the new, disturbing silence.

Not four seconds later the foot steps started again and a blinding light flickered on, illuminating the once dark room. I looked around frantically ,taking in my surroundings. Computers, they seemed to be, lined the circular room and fluorescent lights covered the ceiling. Buttons and levers covered inch of the rounded walls. The air was cold and I could now see my breath. I was strapped to a metal table, still in my blue, flannel pajama shorts and my white tank top.

'I don't even remember waking up! Is this a dream?' I asked myself. I opened my eyes again and gasped, holding back a scream as I looked up into the bluish green faces and the solid black eyes that were now peering down at me. There were six of them, those creepy little things, three on each side of the table. They were covered in a type of leather suit, at least I think that was leather. My heart was racing furiously and I'd bitten my lip so hard that it was bleeding, filling my mouth with the tangy, salty taste of the red liquid.

"W-what are you?" I asked quietly, my chest heaving up and down.

"We are the Gaijin." One of the things on my right growled as I drug its long, pointed, talon- like nail along the side of the table.

"What do you want with me?"I replied, surprised at the steady tone of my voice.

"We want to know what you saw." One of them on my left said, twisting its head around, left then right then over again, as it spoke. All of them turned suddenly as a large door I hadn't noticed before swung open in the corner and another larger thing walked in.

It was covered in the same material, but the color was different. It was a color I'd never seen before, reflecting the light, yet somehow holding in, glowing almost. I wanted to stare, but I wanted slam my eyes close and will myself to believe that this was all a dream.

"Out."Its voice boomed , much louder than the others. They flinched, as though the sound of it had physically hurt them, and immediately obeyed, exiting out of the same door quickly.

"What did you see the night of the fourth in the month of May." It walked closer to me, eerily swaying its body with each step.

'May fourth?'I thought to myself, racking my brain of what he could possibly be talking about. Suddenly it hit me, as though someone had flipped a switch in my brain.

"Lights."I replied in a daze.

"Where." It demanded.

"Over a field. I was on my way home from my grandmothers house and I looked up and saw a beam of light shine down in the field on my left." I explained, literally seeing the beam behind my eye lids as though I were somehow reliving the incident.

"What did you do." It propped its hands on either side of my head and leaned closer to me. Although my eyes were still closed, I could feel it's breath on my face.

"I was so focused on the light, I didn't even see the deer. I stopped just in time, but I swerved off the road onto this patch of grass. I was so freaked out after that , I completely forgot about the light and just went home." I shuddered, goose bumps sprouting up and down my arms and legs.

"And you told no one." It asked after a moment.

"No." I didn't know why I was so willingly answering these questions or why I was no longer struggling, I just couldn't stop myself from blurting everything out.

"You are of no importance to us any longer." It shrugged a large, bulky shoulder and my eyes shot open.

"What? No! Please I-I won't tell a-anyone!" I cried. Fear, desperation, and adrenalin all slammed into me at once. My heart beat so loud that it felt as though my chest cavity was breaking, and I could feel each and every crack.

"You won't remember anything." It whispered, sprinkling a blue dust on my face. I flinched and twisted my head from side to side, but slowed my pace as I felt my eyes closing and my body slowly slipping into a deep, unconscious state.

I opened my eyes moments later only to find myself laying sprawled out on my bed, my pink comforter mangled. I gasped shooting up and placing a hand on my racing heart.

I looked around a few times. No computers ,no lights, no table, no creatures. There weren't even ligature marks on my wrists from the restraints. It was like it never even happened. 'A dream.' I breathed to myself.

Everything was so hazy as I tried to think back on the details of the event, but I could literally feel them slipping away. Quickly ,before I forgot, I ran to my computer and shook the mouse, awaking the screen, squinting at the new light.

I pulled up google translator and typed in 'Gaijin'. The information popped up quickly and I read it slowly. The orgin was Japanese. The literal translation meaning 'the outsiders'.
