The beginning part of their ride was a bit silent. Aries watched as the buildings of King's Row flew past the tinted windows. A sigh drew from her parted lips, and commander Morrison spoke. "So, soldier... You live here?" The British teen was silent, and only nodded at her commander. Jack noted her slight grief. "Right. All my life I've lived here in King's Row," Aries spoke after just a little while. "You know," Jack started. "Cadet Oxton is British. She's a part of Overwatch, and so am I. You might like her."

Aries listened to this. Oxton? That name didn't ring a bell... Oh well. The girl, again, only nodded at the strike commander. "Sounds fun. But... She's a cadet, and I'm just a soldier. Not to mention that she is a part of Overwatch, and I am not. The odds of meeting her are rather slim."  Aries shrugged, looking to Jack. The cogs in her head were turning, and Jack was clearly impressed by her sudden evaluation. Ever so slightly did Jack nod.

The teenager smirked, cracking her knuckles and slightly relaxing. This made Morrison smile, seeing that the girl had grown more comfortable with her situation. Aries treated the man as a stranger, even if she knew who he actually was. In all reality, she knew every term he used, knew who he was, hell, even knew some of his friends and aliases.  The truth was that Aries was an actual genius. Being smart had just grown too hard and stressful, and threw it completely down the drain. Aries absolutely hated being this smart, as people abused it.

Basically, the ride to the airport was full of them getting to know each other. That was, until the topic got to her family and her genetics. It started with Jack asking about her eyes. "A lack of melanin, but I'm not an albino. The doctors couldn't explain." Jack nodded. He noted how much different than her mom she was. The government knew all about their family, since her dad was a lawyer and such.

How they didn't realize that she wasn't actually 18 was beyond her. Maybe they just needed people for the military, and didn't really look at the profiles and birth certificates of all the people they chose... Whatever the reason, this was the greatest and worst thing Aries had ever done. Not only did she manage to pull it off, but it was still believed. Though, the thought drifted as the strike commander had been talking once again.

"I'm glad we found someone... You are part of the last batch of soldiers we need to fight against the omnics. You're the lowest soldiers, so prepare for nicknames... And to be called 'rookie' a lot. We have very few women, so you should be more honored than anything. Not just by others, but also by yourself. You all play an important role." Jack smiled, until he heard a dinging sound. A holographic screen popped up in front of him, and the person on the screen was-

"Commander Gabriel Reyes. I know him."

Aries softly spoke, raising her brows. Jack looked to her, then back at the screen. Gabe was smirking. "Another rookie, Jack? That's the last one, yeah?" Gabriel's voice was gruff like Jack's, though a bit deeper. Not to mention the fact that Gabe was Hispanic. Morrison nodded. "Of course. We're headed to the airport now. We'll be at the base in a few. Is that why you called?" Aries watched, though neither noticed. Gabriel shook his head. "No... We have another one today. His name is Jesse McCree. We need you to come check him out asap." Jack nodded, and ended the call. Aries looked at Morrison confused, but Jack shook his head dismissively.

It was not too much longer before they had reached the airport. Getting out, and into the building, Aries looked around. "Soldier. Keep your composure. We have to head out." Aries shook her head at herself and went with Jack. They ended up boarding a private jet, and were flown out quickly. Sighing thru her nostrils, Aries watched as she left her home. It was hard, but she knew it was her own fault.

What she didn't realize was how tired she was. After a while, she had fallen asleep. Her head fell, and ended up on the commander's should. Morrison knew she was tired, and let it be. When they later arrived at the base, Jack shook her awake, then stood. Aries followed, knowing that she had to do this. They entered a main office, and she was given an outfit. Leaving to a bathroom, she came out after she had put it on. A typical veteran's outfit, with her last name stitched onto it. Some dog tags to identify her, and some different combat boots. She wore her original clothes underneath, except for her pants.

With this, she was introduced to the base, and the people she would never forget for the rest of her life.
