--CK?! Why is he texting me? And how does he have my number? But most importantly.. what the hell happened last night?
I quickly get on my phone again and before I know it I stare at the screen that reads
Calling...
Molly
She picks up after the fourth call.
"Mhmm... Jaaadeee my giiirll! What's going on?" her voice is thick with hangover, as I imagine mine is as well.
"I can ask you the same question" I reply "What happened after we left that diner place?" I ask a bit more detailed.
There was a long pause before she finally answered, and I don't know if it was because she just woke up and was a bit slow to understand or if she just knew that this isn't going to end well and was just preparing for the outrage.
"Well.. we drove back to my house" she said a little unsure
"And...?" I continue to interrogate her.
"Look it's a bit of a story, why don't I explain everything over breakfast?" and just like that she hung up on me.
it sucks not remembering what happened the night before.. but what sucks even worse is being the only one who doesn't remember.
I get up from the bed tossing my phone angerly to the side. You would have thought that I was done with that thing, but as soon as I stand up it buzzes again. I look at it for a while debating on whether I should check it or not. My mind quickly makes a decision and the phone is already in my hand.
Molly was the one who made my phone buzz. She texted me the address of the cafe we're having breakfast at... or I guess lunch since it's already noon.
Finally I'm going to get the picture of yesterday's night back, as the alcohol has swiped it away. I guess I gotta get ready.
A/N: Sorry for a short chapter, but that's how they're going to be for a little while since I don't have my computer with me. Thanks for reading xx <3
