My brain begs me to come up from the water
My lungs scream to release the pressure
My limbs are going numb
Everything hurts
It hurts so bad
But it hurts more to be above the water and have the same insults thrown at me
lacerating my arms and creating permanent lines from the tears
So I stay under my watery prison
