Oh mother
What would I do without you?
Maybe feel less empty?
Feel happy for once?
Or would I be different from
Who I am today?
I know I would have a whole lot
Less knitted things
And I wouldn't smell coffee as soon
As I walked into the door
I also wouldn't have a higher
Percentage of getting breast cancer
I would also not have someone to
Take away my pack of cigarettes that
Hold my blades inside
But that would mean that I would
Have to live alone with him
And I'm not ready to be alone with
