Chapter 14

VICTORIA POV

When I finally reach my home and get into the house.
I hear grunts coming from the backyard, I furrow my brows I hope someone is not having sex there or I'll be doomed for life.

when I get there my mouth is left agape,I see 3 wolves like creatures but not really the normal type that's on four legs you know, they are standing upright like they are humans with very dangerous claws and large fangs and hairs covering every inch of their body, there are a little larger than normal, one is brown the hair around his snout is black.

the next one is completely black and a little white spot near its neck,

the next is completely black and larger than the other two Alex is standing with them in human form and looking small compared and Jake grunting and sweating on all fours on the floor

What's going on? I ask Alex

Its a wild transformation he grins, showing off his fangs, His eyes getting lighter in colour

Woah!! when did you get that, I say moving closer to inspect it

When you've been busy with your research, dad has been helping us with our transformation since neither of us remember doing this the first time.

I thought you all were hybrids I wonder out loud

He smirks, I'm already good at it he shrugs i can change anytime I want to

So what do you look like? I ask pointing to Jake who is still struggling

Idiot!! I roll my eyes where is mom? she said something about me learning about my powers too

She's in her freaky underground room now if you would excuse me am going to rile up Jake, he's still struggling he smiles

I nod  okay weird, this is normal coming back from school to see your hybrids father and brothers transforming, I shook my head at myself and head to my room to change, I first take a bath to cool down first and change to loose ripped jeans with a black belt and a white crop top, I comb my hair and let it dry heading downstairs with the book the principal gave me in hand.

I do exactly the same thing I did last time, I run pass mom's freaky jail room and head to the main room

I enter and see Samantha and Annie passed out and Hailey using her foot to nudge them, trying to wake them up.
mom just sits on one of the chairs talking to lilly, with a thoughtful look on her face

Hey guys I say interrupting them

Oh you're back Hailey mumbles

What's up with them, I point to the twins

They have been doing so well, with their magic and today they decided to try a location spell, but as you can see that did not work out

Why did you not just join them, I inquire

I specifically told them to wait but they where impatient

of course I scream jumping back in fright then roll my eyes, what a way to make an entrance I say trying to remember his name

He frowns but nod, they are not strong enough together maybe you all can try

Mom joins us, no it can't happen, I saw when they started the spell, it was working out but, it just stopped and they passed out, like someone is blocking their path or a spell, we don't really know but, that's not possible for now, we should concentrate on training tori and finding my father, as for my mom, when this is all over we can find her she nods

I shake my head, that's the thing mom, I have a feeling she has a big part in this, why was she searching for her history? if she already knew she was a hunter, how do you know she was not a witch or something more dangerous to Digira.

if she and Digira had something going on, or if they knew each other, Digira should have a reason for killing her parents so quick, and why was she at my school, what was she looking for in that secret library and most of all whats up with that freaky old lady that told me to run that day, we are just back at square one I sigh

Uhm, I don't know if this will help but, do you think any of the old teachers there know about the hidden library or even about what's going on Hailey says

My eyes widen, the principal!!!
she gave me this book but its empty there are no words, her exact words when she gave it to me where "I hope it triggers something" its creepy she asked if anything new was going on in my life, not only that I spoke to Calvin today

he said something about his father talking to a woman about the principal saying she has "it", and needs to be get rid off but according to Calvin the woman never left his office, she just disappeared into thin air, he never saw her leave his office, and Calvin's dad tells him everything but he said nothing about the mysterious woman and life just goes on

I hand the book over to him

This does not look like a novel, its not an ordinary book, it looks like an old journal, my mother had something like this, it does not show the words hidden to anyone apart from the person who is supposed to read it, it is set specifically for that reason, only witches can put up the spell

The question is how did my principal get this, and why give it to me, gosh all this thinking is getting me hungry I mumble the last part

Wait!!! Hailey exclaims

What do you know anything??

She smiles uhm no-", butttt I just wanted to try a new spell, you said you were hungry soooo, she walks up to the table, stretches her hand out, she closes her eyes and a plate of sandwich of different kinds and grape juice appear on the table for each of us, bon appetite she smiles

I roll my eyes but smile anyway, I grab what I can, and start eating

Do you think I can read it, my mom says opening the journal

I shake my head signalling a no, I had a vision, where my hand picked up the book and when I opened it gold words started to fill the pages, but I was unable to see the words since they were blurry

The question is who owns the book, your mother or the principal, Hailey says

I watch him with curiosity, wait have you been watching me the whole time?

He nods without a word

That means he must know I was about to spill my secret to my friends, and he saw me cry of course I don't say it out loud but with the frown on his face, I think we both know what am thinking about

Okay Hailey try and wake up Tweedledee and Tweedledum,mom tells her she nods and head for them,

tori follow me, Jordan you too, she says walking up to the part of the wall that shines more, which I always had my suspicion about. She stands in front and places her hand in the middle and of course white light starts to glow, increasing in Size, like a teleportation machine, this woman is a master at hiding places, she turns to us with a smile, come on she smiles and steps into the light,

After you Jordan says smirking at me

No after you, there's no way am stepping into that thing

He shrugs his shoulders which I notice is covered with a black leather jacket, along with a blue t shirt and black jeans, he looks good, but there's no need to raise his ego

you both should just step in my mom says sticking her head out, with a roll of her eyes.
