Chapter 36

VICTORIA POV

I saw Lola coming out of Alex room this morning, he was literally rushing her out

My eyes go wide what!!! don't tell me-" I gulp

Yup they are mates, and Alex fucking knew all this while since that Calvin dad's party, but didn't say anything

My eyes flash back to the game, and the surprised look on Alex face when he saw Lola

Oh my god, they ugh Jesus, that guy moves fast Jake frowns

Am going to be related to her I smack my forehead

He nods, and bit his lip how does this sound, Lola Clause just perfect don't you think?

My eyes move to the gate as I watch as Alex BMW parks right in front of the gates its impossible for them to see us since were at the end of the wall, Lola plants a kiss on Alex cheek and he laughs saying something she laughs along before climbing out in her wrinkled uniform, arranging it she says something to Alex pouting, he laughs before bidding her goodbye, she blows him a kiss before walking through the gates quickly still not spotting us Alex drives of with a smile on his face.

Well he his happy, Jake comments

I roll my eyes, yes he is, I just hope Lola don't go breaking his heart

Jake rolls his eyes or the other way around

You know they are actually perfect for each other, two players I wonder how this ends up, well brother looks like you're left in the mate crowd

He shook his head not yet 16

But tomorrow I poke him,running off to class before he can put in a word, I walk up to my locker first, the hallway is empty, I put my books in my locker just grabbing the one I need and a pen before heading for class.

The day goes by normally just answering some questions from where I was, its lunch and seniors have a free period, I head up to me and Calvin hideaway and I see its opened my guess Calvin is there, I contemplate going or staying when I just decide to just go in, I see Calvin in the empty pool on one of the beach chairs reading a book.

hey!!

Hey he says, I haven't seen you in a while

Yea I snort a while not since I got taken in for questioning

He nods, so how you doing, he says dropping the book and tapping the seat beside him

I sigh and seat, grabbing the apple  from my bag before turning to him

Yea he smiles with his stupid dimples at both sides of his cheek, you look beautiful

I smile a little

Where did you head to you were gone for 2 days

I scratch my head thinking of a good lie, college scouting

He frowns, you found one? I thought you where taking that one year off thing

I nod, oh I am but I'm trying to be prepared I laugh nervously

You're lying tori, you laugh too much when you lie, but its okay if you don't want to tell me am okay, he places his hand on mine, my apple long forgotten

I frown and say nothing, not trying to remove his hand from mine

What book are you reading? I turn to him

Twilight he laughs softly to himself, I certainly remember you begging me to read it

I laugh, its good right?

It is for you he laughs lowly not for me

Hey twilight is bae I pout

So you're ready to take me back any time soon? He says abruptly

I roll eyes, I thought we were doing the friends thing

I thought you've forgiven me?

Yes I have, am serious,  but getting back together I don't think we will ever I think about the fact that I badly want to get back with him but can't with his father being a hunter, me being a dragon and that's not even the problem the fact I might die is another thing he stays quiet watching me

Why? He gulps turning fully to me

Why? I frown

Yes why? You said you've forgiven me for something I don't even remembering doing in the first place

Oh I don't know, should I remind you, sticking your tongue to Lola's vay jay jay or sleeping with her

I did not sleep with her for Christ sake, I know I actually did the other one but I swear nothing else, I did not sleep with her he mumbles running his hand through his hair

That's what you both keep on saying and I forgive you and all but this won't ever work out

But I love you he sighs, he's hands tracing my cheek

And I swear I love you too but this won't work for other different reasons I sigh placing my hand on his I pull it away from my cheek

Well tell me those reasons so we can actually make this work he frowns almost yelling

I can't okay, I really can't its all so complicated, my life is complicated, I'm complicated but I swear if I ever come to the conclusion that I want to get back together you will be the first person to know I stand up

He laughs sadly okay, I'll take that he says standing up,

I smile a little, thank you cal, for understanding me and my mood swings

He nods, getting closer to me, my guess its that time of the month

I cringe, how the hell did you know?

He laughs, am supernatural, grabbing my waist

Uh uh my eyes move to his lips
