They tell me not to fly like a butterfly

They tell me not to fly like a butterfly.
But if I can't fly like a butterfly,
What can I fly like?

"Don't fly away and shatter like a butterfly,"
They tell me.
But if I can't fly or shatter, can I dissappear?

You say I'm the cause of your Euphoria,
You say you need me,
You say that I shouldn't dissappear.

You tell me not to fly away and shatter
You say with me you're in Utopia.
But why do I feel so far away?

You once said I would dissappear and nobody would care.
That I should try and lose weight.
You said, you would never care.

Then you said, you could only care if all I ate was a pear.
Once a day.
Only once a day.

I began to follow your diet you gave me.
Eating one pear, once a day.
Then, you began to care.

Now you say if I was to fly away,
That you would die.
That it would kill you.

You say if I go, you'll go.
But you don't mean it.
You don't really care if I look down from Heaven or up from Hell.

You tell me that they care!
And that I have followed everything I needed,
You tell me like a butterfly, don't fly.

You wouldn't care that if like a butterfly I would fly.
You don't really need me!
I am not your Euphoria!

I can't stand you not caring
Because now, I'll fly away!
Like the butterfly!

I'll fly away,
Like a Butterfly
Since I've died.
