(Y/N) POV
Another normal day working as a bartender in Starbucks (change it if you don't like Starbucks). It's rather tiring since you also need to serve the customers and deal with their shits, but there's some nice customers who you can have a nice chat with. To be honest, I wouldn't work here if some company is willing to accept my job application and my attitude. I mean, you can't help it when the interview ask you some shitty questions that no one knows how to answer! Anyway, I was dealing with another snobby customer complaining about her coffee burning her mouth. Jesus fucking Christ, I warned you about the coffee being hot and now you're blaming it on me? I didn't get paid enough to deal with this shit, I yell at her inside my head, " Sorry ma'am, it's my fault," I apologise in a 'guilty' tone, you have no idea how hard I want to slap her ugly face, but to keep my part-time job, I can only apologise because ' customers are always right'. She huffed and leaves the shop. Ding-a-ling! Another customer, I look up to see three familiar looking person. Messy black hair, curly brown hair males and minty green hair female- Max, Neil and Nikki?! Man, I haven't seen them for ages! They sit down on a table and start chatting. I look at Nikki lovingly, she was my childhood crush after all, and still is until now. She haven't change in a bit except her height of course, she kept her long minty green hair and the curls. While I look at her, I don't know Max is waiting for me to take his order. He clears his throat, " Bitch I need to take orders- holy shit, is that you (Y/N)?" " Hm? Oh hey Max," I reply, " Why are you doing in this shitty job? Are you Gwen now?" He asks, how does he know? " I guess. Anyway, what can I do for ya?" " Black coffee, cold chocolate and expresso." I nod and take his order after he pays. " I know you're gay for Nikki by the way," he whispers before he takes the drinks back to the gang.
How the fuck does he know??
~Months later~
" (Y/N)~ can you bring me a cup of hot coco?" Nikki asks, I sigh as I bring (favourite drink) and her hot coco to the sofa before sitting down next to her. She takes a sip at her coco before saying, " (Y/N), you make the best hot coco!" I giggle before thanking her. We've been dating for months after seeing her in the coffee shop with the gang. We decide to watch Netflix (get your mind out of the dirty gutter please :p writer out!) as our date, I wrap a(n) (favourite colour) blanket around us as we sit together. " Hey (Y/N)?" Nikki asks during the movie she picked, " Yea?" " Why am I so lucky to see you months ago?" I think about it before giving her a kiss on the cheek, " Maybe it's destined. I believe fate brought us together." She giggles, have I told you how much I love her laughs before? " Do you still work in Starbucks?" I laugh and take a sip of (favourite drink ), " Yep," " You should quite the job," " Then were do I get money? I'm Gwen 2.0 after all, not accepted by the companies," I ask, she remains silent. I laugh and we spend the rest of the night watching different movies and shows.
I always thought to myself, how am I so lucky to meet her again?
Yep, fate definitely brought us together
