It's been some time since you and Wheatley got out of that place, you've started to get your memories back, or at least you think, you had spend some time showing Wheatley what the outside world is, it's been great not to say the least.
As time passed by, is October, the month of horror. " So what's this...'Halloween'...? Is it some sort of...religion or something...?" Wheatley asked as you watched TV on your sofa, holding Wheatley in your embrace. " It's more of a...festival. It's for everyone to trick-or-treat in costumes and maybe enjoy some movie," you explained. " I'm not used to hearing your voice there (Y/N)," Wheatley stated, you chuckled and hummed in response. As you and Wheatley we're watching TV, a Halloween commercial came. Wheatley was curious to say the least, so you decided to let him experience the tradition.
~Time skip~
You and Wheatley arrived a store, selling different decorations: LED lights, banners, skeletons and more. You decided to pick some up, to add some Halloween spirits to the apartment. Kids in the store were very curious about Wheatley, they stared and reached out to touch him, but got their hand slapped by their parents and saying 'it's rude' as a result. Wheatley started to side-glance a lot, showing that he's uncomfortable. " it'll be quick," you promised him as you walked into different isles. You got home with bags on your arms after an hour or so. After unlocking the apartment door, you put everything on the floor as you slumped on the sofa, Wheatley by your side. You didn't worry about the costume, you can just wear your work uniform, or at least add some details on it. Both of you were tired, you fell asleep watching the TV on the sofa.
One hour later, you woke up and decided to start decorating. You pulled out a ladder and start surrounding your apartment with gloomy coloured LED lights, with some cute pumpkin pictures in between. It took you almost 3 hours to get it done, despite the fact that it's very long and you need to move the ladder around, not mentioning extremely clumsy. But it was all worth it. You put on the rest of the decorations with an ease. After setting everything, you looked back and smiled. You were proud, and it'll be the best Halloween to spend with Wheatley.
