Boy, getting back test papers' not the best thing in the world, of course, unless you're a genius or something. Anyway, test was over, meaning that we're getting our test papers back. And boy I was devastated. All I wish for is to pass all subjects, but boy am I wrong. I failed two subjects and most of the other subjects were bare pass, including the subjects I had faith most- history and English. It's clear that I'm both pissed and sad, I've never gotten such grades before, what happened? I'm fine last year? How?! I don't bother talking for the whole period, before staying the same for next. Let's be honest, I'm bad at lying. During lunch, (Y/N) and I went for lunch in a fast food shop nearby school. I stayed silent, not being the bubbly and cheerful person I am. (Y/N) knew something's up clearly as we have been friends for years now.
" What's wrong (N/N)?" They asked kindly, I shook my head, continued to eat in silent.
(Y/N) PoV
She's acting...not her energetic self. You're worried about her,she's the best friend you've  got, since you don't have a big social circle. " (N/N)? Is there anything you want to tell me?"  Once again, she stayed silent. You sat next to her and start to poke her cheek, which is rather fun to play with. " Tell me," you say repetitively, at this point, she burst into laughter. She wiped away a tear before spilling the truth. " I got bad results in the tests, it's worst than...hers." You tilted my head in confusion, you know Abby is a competitive person, especially in English and History, but she's lowkey about it though. " Another best friend got better marks than me, she even took my thrones." Damn, no wonder she's sad. " And the guys behind me start to talk about how bad their marks were, not mentioning I got bare passes in those, I just hate to be the dumb one in their friend-circle, ya know?" You nodded and patted her back, giving her some comfort, " But no worries, I'll take back my thrones in exam," she chuckled darkly. " I can help you with your studies (N/N)!" You suggested kindly, giving her a kiss on the cheek, " Sure, you can be in the throne as well, like a queen? Uh, ok that's gay..." she said awkwardly, I smiled and agreed. " I don't mind being gay~" you pressed your voice lower than usual, giving a seductive feel. She blushed, " Oh shut up, you can be bi too ya know," " I know," and we finished our food.
As we walked back to school, I held her hand in mine. " Ya know what they always say, failure is the mother of success, I believe you can do it!" You cheered her up, she smiled warmly. " Thanks, ya dork," " No problem darlin'", she looked at me dumbfounded, " Oh shut up," I giggled. " I love ya," " Love you too."
