Chapter 1

Your POV

You've been working at the Stark tower for a year now since the avengers started. You knew Tony personally so he hired you to clean around the tower and help him work on some of his gadgets for the team. Since working there you would hangout with the team especially Thor, Thor was like your best friend now and kinda like an older brother for you with how close you guys were.

You also knew everything that happened a year ago with Loki destroying New York. You were even there when it happened. You instantly grew a dislike towards him but never wanted to say anything hateful about him around Thor because you knew how much he loved his brother even after everything between them.

Tony has been letting you stay at the tower since you were there working every day anyway and there were spare rooms. Every bedroom in the tower was enormous, even yours. along with a big wardrobe, your own bathroom, and king size bed. You felt it might've been a little too gracious of him to do for you but Tony insisted since you were friends and felt it was more convenient for you.

One day after you were finished cleaning around the kitchen and living room you decided to relax in your room for a while. It was about 4:30pm and you had also already eaten dinner. As you were lying on your bed listening to some light music and reading a book there was a knock on your door.

"Come In!" You yelled.

It was Thor who walked in, "Hello Lady (y/n)" He walked over and sat beside you.

"Hey Thor, what's up?" You replied sitting your book down.

"Thought you could use some company, also just wanted to talk to you about some things. I've had a lot on my plate lately." He said calmly.

You knew Thor was going through a lot, since you were his best friend he would basically tell you everything. His relationship with Jane wasn't looking too good at the moment, his mother recently passed away due to dark elves he had to fight, he's been fighting enemy after enemy and needed a break to focus on himself, his father hasn't been in the best of health, and he wants to be on good terms with his brother but not sure how to talk with him.

"I know you've been going through a lot but maybe you just need a vacation. Just by yourself or maybe even with Jane." You said sympathetically.

"Yeah, I know you're probably right but it's hard to just think of taking time off from everyone and everything." He sighed.

"Just go back home to Asgard for awhile and everything will be fine." You pat his shoulder.

"I'm not sure I would want to, my father decided to lock Loki up in the prisons there and I know he would know if I came back. You're aware we haven't been on good terms since what happened last year."

"I know, Jane could go with you though probably and you two might be able to work relationship out while away from everything else." You suggested.

"I don't think she would want to go, she was saying how she didn't want to break up with me but we needed time apart because it might help." Thor stood up thinking.

You also were thinking of how you could help, "Well maybe I could go with you. I'm your best friend and plus if anything bad happened to my you know Tony and Steve have been trying to teach me self defense."

"Would you really wanna take a trip to Asgard? I could just go alone, and I'm not sure how father would react knowing I brought another mortal besides Jane." Thor questioned crossing his arms.

"I'm sure Odin would understand if you said I'm someone you work with, I just want you to feel comfortable and maybe you would if I tagged along so you could have someone to talk to here and there. Also Asgard is suppose to be such a beautiful place, do you really think I would miss out on a trip like that?" You smiled.

He slightly chuckled, "I guess you're right. We'll go and see how well things get calmed down. We can leave maybe tomorrow." He smiled and walked out the door.

You felt very happy knowing you get to go to such a godly place and hangout with your best friend there. Who's what might happen while you are there...
