Loki POV
Thor walked through the dungeons to find Loki's prison cell. He opened his cell and Loki stood up in front of him with a curious look on his face as to why Thor was down there.
"Usually (y/n) is the one who comes to visit me everyday, not you. Why are you here instead of her this time?" Loki asked.
"I have been ordered by our father..."
Loki cut Thor off, "Your father."
Thor rolled his eyes, "Odin has ordered me to release you from your imprisonment upon your good improvement with lady (y/n) however he still wants you to be around her everyday even though you are now free."
Loki became wide eyed, "So all is forgiven because I got along with an earthing for awhile? What makes anyone think they can really trust me?"
"We don't trust you and I wish we could, but we do trust (y/n) and believe you have a good influence when around her." Thor responded.
"Oh please, just because that old buffoon forces me into some play dates like some child doesn't mean anything. It's pure coincidence that I get along with her so well." He crosses his arms.
"Well, be that as it may, I need to put handcuffs on you and bring you up to your room?" Thor pulled out cuffs from one of his pockets.
"Hold on a second, I have to make sure I return all the books (y/n) let me borrow." He picked them up from his bedside and handed them to Thor to hold since he'd be cuffed.
They walked out of the dungeons and back up into the castle together as Thor lead Loki to his old room which is now shared by the two of you.
you/Loki POV
You sat up quickly on your bed when you noticed Thor open the door pushing Loki inside.
"You can't be serious..." Loki muttered looking over at Thor.
"(y/n) and I weren't thrilled of this arrangement either, but father thinks it's best for you two be in the same room for now." Thor sighed and walked over to you handing over your books.
"Here, Loki said he had borrowed these from you."
"Thank you." You took them and sat them on the floor beside your bed and smiled at him.
Thor then proceeded to take off Loki's handcuffs and left the room shutting the door behind him.
"Well then," Loki sighed and walked over to sit on his bed across from yours, "This is basically no different then what we've been doing everyday now isn't it." He mentioned referring to how you both would sneak away to this room during your sessions.
You giggled slightly, "Yeah I guess you're right," You and him admitting an aura of awkwardness between you two.
"So what do you wanna do with your first day of freedom?" You asked to break any tension forming.
Loki crossed his arms and thought for a moment of how to respond, "Push the beds together."
You blushed wondering if he meant what you thought he meant, "Umm what?..."
"We should push the beds together because even though the room itself is huge it still seems awkward having two beds in here. If they were put together as one big bed it would look more normal. I'll still stay on my side and you'll stay put on your side." Loki threw one of his pillows at you same as you had done to him that time before.
You sighed and stood up, "Sure, I'll help you push them."
"No need for any labor." Loki also stood up and used his magic to put the beds together.
"Why do I always forget you can use your powers?" You said under your breath.
He smirked hearing you, "You and I should go see whatever is for dinner in the dining hall and then figure out what else to do for the day. Unless you have made plans with Thor."
"Nah, Thor probably has plans with his other friends today, plus it'll be fun spending the whole rest of the day with you instead of just two hours." You smiled.
He smiled back at you and you two walked out and headed to the dining hall arm in arm.
