Your POV

After about an hour passes you left your chambers and began blindly walking around the enormous palace. Room after room you were so fascinated by every breath taking feature. Eventually you go to the end of a very long hallway and see a a massive staircase leading down somewhere. You assume it must be a basement or cellar but were curious nonetheless so you decide to walk down.

It seemed like they almost went nowhere with how long it was, leading into only more darkness. But then suddenly you saw a dim light and had finally made it to the bottom. It took a good few minutes but glad to have a new place to explore.

You walk through more and notice all these prisons cells made of glass and some with different people and creature inside. You walk through more wondering what you had discovered. With curiosity getting the better of you instead of turning around to leave you kept walking through getting looks as you passed by.

"Are you lost?..." You hear a man's voice ask behind you.

You turn around to see none other than Loki standing inside one of the glass prisons giving a confused look.

"I've never seen you before, I'm guessing you're not from around here?" He said staring at you up and down.

"I came to Asgard with Thor. I work at the Avengers tower with him and I'm like his best friend. He said I could look around the castle on my own. I didn't know I'd end up finding you." You answered trying to remain calm.

"Yes, my dear brother has finally come home after letting me rot in here for a year. I was informed when he arrived earlier but I had no idea he'd bring another midgardian aside from his little girlfriend." He rolled his eyes.

You walked up to the glass to better talk with him, "You're brother has a lot he's had to do including fixing your mess in New York, he came here to get a break for awhile. It's a good thing you're caged." You said with such dislike for him.

Loki looked you in the eyes through the glass without breaking contact he replied, "I don't need a mere mortal being distasteful with me. I'll find my way out of here sooner or later."

While looking into his eyes you knew he was threatening but all you saw was how beautiful his eyes looked. Such a perfect blue green color. For someone you couldn't stand you just couldn't deny how attractive he seemed, even his voice was pleasurable alone. It was so weird to you.

Loki smirked having read your thoughts since you remained quite for a moment staring at him, "You like what you see?"

You back away from the glass slightly, "No. I could never like such a cruel person."

"Darling I can read your thoughts but I understand. I could never like a worthless midgardian, even with that body..." He started to also back up putting his hands behind his back.

You felt disgusted, like you don't want to associate with him whatsoever let alone allow him to invade your thought, "Stay out of my mind! It's entirely inappropriate to invade my own personal thoughts!"

"I do what I want and a mortal can't stop a god." Loki replied.

You felt furious with him but for some reason still wanted a conversation with him but why?...

"What is your name?" Loki demanded you.

"My name is (y/n)..."

"I'll remember that if we ever cross paths again." He crossed his arms.

Within a split second Thor came down and grabbed you by the arm pulling you away from Loki, "Heimdall told me you were down here with Loki and I won't allow him to hurt you in any way."

Thor spoke firmly with you almost like a parent would and Loki laughed, "Brother you must be kidding yourself if you think I can get through this cell. We were just talking."

"Don't play innocent brother. I know you could've manipulated her at any point. (y/n) go back upstairs." Thor demanded you and you listened finding your way back up the stairs.

"Why did you even bring her? Wasn't that Jane enough for you? Are you attempting to get laid by another midgardian?" Loki said starting an argument.

Thor glared at him and replied, "She is merely a friend. My best friend in fact and I have no interest in her because my heart still belongs to Jane and always will. Jane couldn't come back to Asgard with me so (y/n) offered to come. I don't care what you do, I just will not have her hurt while she's here."

Loki just rolled his eyes, "We are gods. We do not need mortal women holding us back."

"Loki I think the world of you and have always cared for you but you should learn to have compassion. You could be more than what you already are but you stay so stagnant. You could be her friend too if you tried to change for better rather than holding onto the worst." After saying that Thor walked away leaving the prisons.

Left alone with his thoughts once more Loki wanted to brush off those words pacing back and forth.

"Mewling Quim..." He whispered to himself.
