Guess who has the sequel up? This guy *points to self* I'm so glad you all liked my first book, in fact, I am very excited to make this one because man am I excited to write. As said in my One-Shot book, I'm learning a new language and planning and do a lot of that lately so the updates will be slower than when I published the first book. I'm also doing more and more as I'm progressing through highschool at an alarming rate so all that adult college research and all that is also going on right now so yeah. Updates will be slower than when I made the first one buuuut~

Distance only makes the heart fonder, right? Oh wait... That only works with actual people and not a book...

Actually, F*ck people, cause books are better! My logic stands because of these two rules I have

1. I'm always right
2. If I'm wrong, back to rule #1

(Name) POV

"Connor! Where did you put the food bowl for (cat's name)?" I yelled from the back of the camper, getting a can of food for (cat's name) out of a small cupboard. "The location of the food bowl would be approximately four cabinets to your left" Connor responded as he drove out of the big city and leaving out of New Mexico and crossing over to Mexico itself.

Yeah, yeah. We were in Canada at first, right? Yeah, but we ended up leaving once we seen how many people were there crowding the place. Since Canada seemed to be a pretty large area and so close to being unbearably cold, it was an idea to move somewhere more warm. Because I'd rather be somewhere warm and hot than to freeze into a popsicle in a blizzard where I would disappear until spring.

We took up that offer of visiting Hank down in Mexico, seeing as it was now a developed country there.

"Now why would that be in there..." I wondered while opening the cupboard he said to and grabbing the bowl. I put the food in it and set it out of the way so I wouldn't step in it anytime. I stretched as the warm air flew into the vehicle, feeling the need to change into something more comfortable. I went to the back and closed the curtain that seperated the feont of the vehicle to the back sleeping quarters for a good two or three people.

I changed into a white tank top and skin tight capris that hugged my calf muscles. Going to the front, I sit in the passenger seat as Connor focuses on driving. "Hey Connor, I think it's time to pull over and rest for the night" I suggest with a yawn. "We are three miles outside of Mazlatán and away from where Hank's place of residency. Are you sure we shouldn't juat wait until we get there?" Connor asks me, briefly looking at me from the corner of his eye as I leaned the seat back and shrugged.

"I don't see why not, though the first thing I'm going to do is go to sleep when I get there" I respond, yawning once more as (cat's name) jumped in my lap and stretched before curling into my lap and yawned too. She fell asleep in my lap and I frowned at how many perfectly good pillows lied back there yet she decided to use me as a cushion.

Oh, you're probably wondering now what happened to all our stuff right? We had a whole sale and I sold everything, getting a good 15,900 USD out of the deal. That was more than plenty to start a new life, but I wanted to save the money until we found a place I was 100% sure was the best place for us. I wanted a good spot, one where living there would be a breeze for the rest of our days.

"You're lucky I love you, otherwise I would have had some words about you preventing me from sleeping" I say in a tired tone and a small smile tugs at Connor's lips. "I would say that I am inarguably lucky that you share those same feelings for me as I share for you" he responded and when I looked ahead, the faint glow of lights was seen from as far as the eye can see. "You are also lucky that I'm too tired to completely understand whatever complex sentence you just said" I mumbled.

As soon as the camper arrived into the city, I was in the middle of dosing off before lights invaded my vision and I groaned in protest. "Why must the universe hate me and my will to sleep?" I whine as I yawn again. "Hank lives just half a mile from here. Once we arrive you will be able to sleep" Connor said, trying to make me whine less. "But you're going to want to talk to Hank I'm going to want to cuddle you." I say as I turn my head to look at him. "Though that might be mostly correct, I will still join you in bed later" Connor responded as I was already trying to keeo my eyes open and on the driving make before my eyes.

"Okay..." I mumble as my consciousness fades and I fall asleep, giving up on staying away despite the universe's protests.

Even if we crashed into the ocean I'd stay asleep...

The first chapter of the sequel!!! Done!!! What do you think? I think it was alright, though I could have done a LOT better on it but once the story actually begins it'll all get better!
