Revenge

Chapter 2

"Hello?" Donnie asked. I could hear what they were saying.

"Donnie, Casey just called." A voice said.

"About what Raph." Donnie did not sound amused.

"A friend of his is missing," Raph said.

"Whats their name?" Donnie asked.

"He said her name was Ashley. He's worried. They were supposed to be meeting up an hour ago." Raph said.

A friend?

"I doubt she's in any trouble," Donnie said.

"What? Donnie, he said she didn't answer her phone and apparently she always does." His brother exclaimed loud enough for me to definitely hear. 

"Maybe she's busy," Donnie said. 

"Donnie just get over hear and help us find her!" The call ended with that. We just sat there. It was clear he didn't want to do what was told.

"You have to go?" I asked.

"Yeah. But I don't want to. I don't want to do anything." He said. I moved my hand in the dark until I found his. I put my hand on top of his. He froze.

"Tell them you found me. Tell them you returned me to my house." I spoke getting up.

"Wait!" He called out grabbing my hand. I stopped and looked at him. His hand was out of the shadow. It was green and his hand only hand three fingers. I pulled at his arm until he was more out. I smiled.

He was a mutant turtle. He had a purple bandana sound his eyes and a stick on his back. He looked scared. I grabbed a market from my pocket and wrote on his hand. He stood up and looked at it.

"Call or text me when you want to talk," I said. He just looked at it before looking at me. His amber eyes staring into my blue ones. I walk off but I can feel his eyes on me.

"Wait!" He called out again. I walk back over to him. "Let me bring you home." I nod.

"Okay. But how are-" He cuts me off mid-sentence as he picks me up bridal stylee. He smiles at me.

"Hold on." He spoke.

"To what?" I ask. He just laughs and starts jumping. I screech and grab a hold of his neck.

"So where exactly is your house?" He asked. I smiled and told him. He stops and turns around seeing as we were heading in the wrong direction. I laughed. He ran for a bit more before finally we were in an alleyway near my house. He set me down.

"Thank you," I spoke.

"Your welcome." He said. He smiles and I smile back.

"Stay right here," I said. He nods and I run inside. No ones home. "Hello?" No one. Buster runs in and I give him a quick scratch before I go up to my room. I open the window. "Donnie." He jumps up on escape ladder. "Are you hungry, or thirsty at all?"

He shakes his head but his stomach betrays him. He chuckles and I step aside. He hops in and I close my window.

"No ones home so if you want you can follow me," I said.

"Your room is very small." He said. I look around. All I get in my room is a nightstand directly next to my bed, a bed, and a barrow. Then all I have left of my room and a little hallway.

"Yeah. But hey gotta take what you can afford right?" I ask. He nods and we walk downstairs. Buster sees him and walks up to him. Donnie gives him a scratch and Buster goes in the living room to lay down.

"That's a very well behaved dog," Donnie said.

"Thank you. I trained him." I said. We make it to the kitchen. "How does a sandwich sound?" He nods. I go to the fridge. "Would you like turkey, ham, baloney, or chicken."

"What type of ham?" He asked. I look at it.

"Virginia smoked ham," I said.

"I'll take that." He said. I asked him more questions, like would you like mayo. Would you like this or that. Eventually, I finished making it and gave it to him. He ate it while I brewed some coffee."This is a really good sandwich." I smile.

"Thank you," I spoke. "Casey never thought so."

"Well, he's an ass." He said. I chuckled. So did he. He finished and I gave him a water and we went back to my room. He exited the window and looked at me. "Again thank you."

"It's not a problem. Us heartbroken ones gotta stick together right?" I asked with a chuckle.

"Right." He said. He stood up. "I should get going. I'll talk to you soon." He held up his hand to show my number. I nodded.

"I'll be waiting," I said. He smiled and left. I closed my window.

Donnie's POV

I got home. I heard everyone who was in the lair. Leo, Raph, Mikey, April, and Casey. I sigh. She's friends with my brothers, of course, she'd be here. Also, there's the fact that she doesn't know I caught her.

I enter the lair and all hell broke loose.

"Where were you, Donnie?" Leo asked. "We were looking for an hour and you never showed up once."

"We didn't even find her!" Raph roared. I just stood there. "So now we have to go back out and make sure she's okay."

"She's fine," I spoke.

"How do you know that?" Casey asked. I wanted to hurt him.

"I found her and brought her home," I said.

"What?" Leo asked.

"I was on my way to you guys when I saw the purple dragon gang up on her. I didn't know who she was at first, but I reacted and saved her. She later told me her name was Ashley but likes to be called Ash." I lied. "She was on her way to meet up with a friend when she got jumped. I brought her home and left."

"Oh," Casey said, "well thanks, man." I nodded and left for my lab.

"We got pizza," Mikey said.

"Not hungry," I spoke. I closed the doors and locked them.
