Donnie's POV

I closed my door after Ash fell asleep. I walk back out to my brothers.

Leo looks at me and crosses his arm. I knew what was going on.

"Let me explain." I start before he can say anything.

"Please do. I'd love to hear it." Leo said. I glared at him. I tell him the story. Somewhat.

I continued the lie about how we met and told the truth about why she was here.

"Wow," Mikey said. "That's rough."

"You have no idea," I spoke. They don't know about Casey.

"Still Donnie. You shouldn't have brought her here." Leo said. I give him a look.

"Why not Leo?" I ask. "Is my trust in her not enough?"

"I never said that. I just said you shouldn't have brought her here." Leo said. He crossed his arms. "You should have brought her to a hotel, family, or a friend." I glared at him and stood up.

"I am her friend Leo," I said.

"You've only met her twice!" He shouted. "That's not enough." I chuckle. "What?"

"I met her that night she didn't show up to Casey. I spent time training her in Ninjutsu. I saved her from the purple dragon and she got hurt." I said and smiled. "Your gonna love this part. I snuck her into the lair to patch her up. And you remember when Casey had me look up her number, she was hiding under my desk." Leo was getting angrier and angrier with every word I said. "I've been hanging out with her for 1 month now Leo and none of you knew it!" The lair was quite.

"You should have told us sooner Donnie," Leo said.

"Oh like you did with Kari?" I asked. Raph and Mikey Oh'd at my comment.

"That's different," Leo said.

"Oh, right I forgot. She was the enemy." I pointed out. Raph and Mikey chuckled.

"Donnie, stop it," Leo said. "I'm the eldest, I'm in charge. When she wakes up. She is gone." I looked at him. I shake my head.

"No," I said. He gave me a look and was going to talk.

"I'll go." A voice said. I turned to see Ash. She had her coat in her arms. She moved some of her hair with her hand and her forearm was shown. The cuts still fresh. My blood was boiling at the thought of her mother doing that to her.

"Thank you," Leo said. "At least one of you is being reasonable."

"Yeah. I'll just sleep in a trashcan tonight." Ash said in a low tone. I smiled knowing that she was doing. Mikey and Raph shared a look.

"What?" Leo asked.

"Huh?" Ash asked.

"What did you say?" Leo said.

"Nothing," Ash said. He gave her a look before walking off. "Maybe a trash bag will be warm enough." He looks at her. Then proceeds to try walking off again. "Maybe I'll meet a nice guy in the alleyway and-"

"Fine!" Leo yelled. He faced us. "Fine."

"Fine," Ash said.

"Fine!' He yelled.

"Fine," Ash said shrugging a shoulder. Leo gave her a glare and she smiled. He walked off.

After a week Ash went home because her mother had finally settled down. Leo accepted her after 3 days and all five of us actually had fun together.

Once Ash went home everything in the lair died down. I already missed her being here but Leo had told her to come over anytime she wanted. Then the question happens.

"So Donnie." Leo started. I look at him from the desk. All three of them entered the lab.

"I'm not fixing the toaster again Leo," I spoke. While Ash was here we had an incident with a toaster.

"No it's not that," Leo said. All three crowd around me. "We just wanna talk."

"About?" I asked. I was nervous.

"Ash," Leo said. I sighed.

"I thought you were okay with her now," I stated defensively.

"I am. We all are." Leo said.

"Okay, then what do we have to talk about with Ash?" I asked. The three shared a smile. Raph steps forward.

"Is Ash the reason your no longer with April?" He asked. I was taken back.

"What?" I asked.

"Did Ash cause your break up with April?" Raph asked. I felt angry. I couldn't tell them the real reason. Ash had asked me if they knew and when I said no she said she wanted to keep it that way at least for now.

"No," I said sternly.

"Are you sure?" Mikey asked appearing behind me.

"Positive," I said. The three share a look.

"So, your feelings for Ash didn't cause the breakup between you and April?" Raph asked. My what?

"I don't have feelings for Ash," I said.

"Well, we say different," Mikey said.

"Oh really?" I asked. "Please elaborate." Mikey looked at us in confusion. "Explain." He smiled.

"Whenever she would step in the room you'd have a smile on your face," Mikey explained.

"We caught you staring at her a couple of times," Leo said.

"Also, you insisted she take your room. Weird thought but was it so your bed would smell like her when she left?" Raph asked. I sat there frozen.

"No," I said.

"Are you saying no to me or your feelings?" Raph asked.

I sat there looking at them.

"I'm saying no to you. Ash is just a friend." I said. The three nodded.

"Okay," Leo said. "Whatever you say." They leave my lab and I sit down.

Do I like Ash. Sure she's determined, smart, very energetic, crazy at times, kind, caring, sweet, pretty, beautiful, wait, what?

I sit there for a little bit thinking it over before it hits me.

I like Ash...
