The soccer game for our school is in 3 days. Also in 2 days we find out if the chemo I've had to have every day for the last week worked. I hope it did. I am still feeling okay so I hope it stays that way until after the game.

"Lincoln, I'm going to take a shower. Go do something. Get some fresh air."

"I'm not leaving. I am staying right here." he said.

"Go meet new people. Something. I just don't want you to stay all cooped up in this hospital room because I am here."

"Fine. I will be right outside the building."

"Okay. I will be in the shower. You better not be back in here before I get out."

"Okay, mom." he said laughing.

I got in the shower and I heard Lincoln leave the room. I am glad he is doing something besides sitting in anhospital room with his sister.

Ryleigh wants me to leave the hospital room a lot lately. She is acting really weird since the argument I had with my parents. She couldnt possibly think they were right, or could she?

"Hi, how are you?" a lady at the front desk asked as I walked by

"Im well, and you?" I stopped and asked.

"Ive had better days. Are you leaving?"

"Im not going far. My sister thinks I need to get out of this hospital for a little while so im going to sit on a bench outside."

"How long have you guys been here?"

"Almost a week."

"Wow."

"Yeah. Well I'll see you later."

"See you later."

I got out of the shower and Lincoln wasn't in here. I'm proud of him. He has held up so well while he has been here.

"Ryleigh?" a female voice asked.

"In the bathroom." I say.

"Hey, I am your nurse for the next couple days."

"Hi. You already know my name. What's yours?"

"I am Kimberly."

"Hi, Kimberly. What did you need?"

"Have you eaten today?"

"No."

"You need to eat. When you have cancer you lose lots of weight and you need to eat as much as you can."

"What can I get?"

"Pretty much anything."

"Can I have some peaches?"

"I'll be back with some peaches."

I like this new nurse. She is very attentive and friendly. The perfect nurse. I am going to like having her around. I layed down and about 30 seconds later Kimberly came in with a fruit cup.

"Here you go." she said and handed me my fruit cup and a spoon.

"Thank you." I said and Lincoln walked in. "That's Lincoln, my older by a minute and a half twin brother."

"Hi, Lincoln." she said.

"Hey." he said.

"I'm going to go take a shower now." Lincoln yelled from the bathroom.
