~Ryleigh's P.O.V.~
I cannot believe Drake of all people was in my hospital room watching me dance and sing to one of his songs. Or the fact that he LEFT ME HIS NUMBER! Once he left I went and grabbed my phone from the surround sound and grabbed the paper he wrote his number on. I put his number into my phone. I also decided that I wanted a caramel macchiato frappuccino from Starbucks so I texted him.
R- Hey, this is Ryleigh . Could you get me a caramel macchiato frappuccino from Starbucks? I have money I can give you for it.
D- I got your back, biggest fan.
R- Thanks.

-20 minutes later
Drake walks in my room about 20 minutes after I texted him and sure enough, he had a caramel macchiato frappuccino in one hand and a mocha latte in the other. He handed me mine and Lincoln the other.
"Thank you." I said as Drake sat on my hospital bed. " Let me get money from my bag." I said, getting up.
"No," Drake said, pulling me gently back down. "It's on me. I mean, you are my biggest fan."
"Thanks" I said shyly, feeling slightly guilty.
"So, how has life been?"
"Well," I said as I looked around the room " it's been this for the last couple months. The only good part is that I have you to listen to and I feel like you know exactly how I feel."
"Well I'm glad I can help, even when I'm not here."
"How did you even know I was in the hospital?" I asked.
"Well, your brother here and your parents contacted my manager and said that it would be a life changer for you if I met you. So I decided to come on your birthday." He said.
I leaned over on the bed and hugged him as tight as my frail, depleted body would allow and to my surprise he hugged me back.
"Thank you for making this the best birthday ever."
"You're welcome but you really should thank your brother."
"Thank you big brother!" I said, getting up to hug him.
"You're welcome. Listen, I'm going to go home to grab some more clothes and I will be back in a bit. Love you."
"Love you." I said, waving.
"So tell me how you feel about your parents never being here for you." Drake said as soon as Lincoln left.
"Well, sometimes I'm frustrated, sometimes I'm sad, sometimes I don't care, sometimes I feel bad that Lincoln feels obligated to stay with me, sometimes I'm irritated, sometimes I feel lonely, sometimes I feel like I'm fighting this battle alone, and sometimes I feel all of these emotions at the same time." I said, feeling the sting of warm tears on the brink of rolling down my cheeks.
"Well I am very blessed to have such a wonderful fan that goes to my music when she is having trouble dealing with her emotions."
"I just feel as if nobody understands how alone in this battle for my life I feel...except you. You're my idol so I always turn to you,no matter the situation."
By now tears were running down my cheeks and Drake's eyes were really watery.
"I never thought I could or would ever have such an exceptional fan." He said as he pulled me in for a hug.
We hugged for a while and then Draake broke the silence.
"Listen, I have to go but I will be here tomorrow and know that you can call or text me anytime, day or night." He said.
"R-really?" I asked.
"Definitely. I don't want you always bottling up your feelings. Know that you can tell me anything anytime."
"Thank you," I said, getting up to hug him. "'I love you Aubrey Drake Graham! Thank you for being there for me" I said as tears rolled down my face again.
"I love you too Ryleigh Brooke McManis. Thank you for being the most exceptional fan I could ever ask for!" He said.
~Drake's P.O.V.~
I absolutely loved meeting Ryleigh and making her day better. I never dreamed of having such a dedicated fan. I definitely appreciate her because even though she has her own issues with her cancer battle she turns to my work to relieve her feelings. I really want to be there for her whenever I can. She is the most meaningful fan I've ever met. I could tell she has been a dedicated fan since day one. I admire fans like that. She is a very thoughtful and incredibly strong young lady that I am so lucky to have as a fan.
~Lincoln's P.O.V.~
Ryleigh was definitely pleasantly surprised to be talking to and seeing Drake. The look on her face when she turned around and saw him was definitely priceless. I was just ecstatic to see her smile for real since I haven't seen one of her real smiles pretty much since we came to the hospital. Maybe this visit with her idol will make her see that even though mom and dad can't always be there at her bedside they still care and think about her.

~Ryleigh's P.O.V.~
"Hey, sleeping beauty." Lincoln said.
"Hey."
"I guess your little visit tuckered you out, didn't it?"
"Yeah, but I need to take a shower and get ready."
"Why?"
"Drake said he was coming back today so we could really talk because he had to go early yesterday."
"Oh. "
"Yeah. I still love you though." I said, smiling at Lincoln.
"Yeah, yeah. Go take a shower."
-------------------------
When I finished getting ready I went to the vending machine because Lincoln was gone so he couldn't buy me food. As I was typing in the code for the skittles I wanted I saw someone come out of the elevator from the corner of my eye. I looked over to see none other than Drake and Sandi Graham. I can't believe he actually came back, much less brought his mom to meet me!

Why do you think Drake brought his mom? How do you think Sandi will react to meeting Ryleigh?
