"Chrissy please get out of the bathroom!"

"Go downstairs Trevor!" I yelled.

"But that's like 5 bajillion steps!" Trevor whined.

"Ugh! You're so lazy!"

"Can you blame me? We have a huge house!"

"And you have a sex life how?" I muttered.

"Excuse me?" Trevor asked.

It was Friday night and I was getting ready for the party. Colton didn't come to school today because he and his mom were still trying to get over his haircut and new outfit. After we left the salon I took him to the mall to buy him an outfit for tonight. We got him black skinny jeans with a long-sleeved navy button down and black converse. It made him look sexy.

I put down my eyeliner and took a step back to see how I looked. I wore a sparkly dark blue dress with a sleeve covering my left arm and my right was bare. My long red hair hung in soft curls over my shoulders and down my back. I slid on my sparkly silver high-heels to top it off.

I swung open the door, stopping Trevor in mid knock.

"Finally!" he exclaimed. He pushed past me and into the bathroom, slamming the door in my face.

"Love you too," I muttered and walked downstairs.

"And where are you going all dressed up?" my mom asked.

I rolled my eyes and turned to look at her. "A party," I said, like it was obvious."

"Who's?" God this woman is nosy.

"Michael's. He's a friend of mine."

"Who's a friend of yours?" My dad asked walking in.

"Michael. Hey I need to take your car again," I said to my dad.

"They still haven't fixed yours?" he asked.

"Nope. Apparently it's really hard to fix a broken AC."

"Here," he tossed me the keys and I caught them. "No drinking!" he called behind me as I walked out the door.

"Wasn't planning on it!" I shut the door and walked down to the truck.

"So do you go to a lot of parties?" Colton asked me.

"Mmhm," I said. I had just picked up Colton and we were on our way to Michael's house.

"Are they fun parties?" he asked. He seemed uneasy about this. I could tell this was definitely his first party.

"You could say that."

"What do you do at these things?" Colton was rubbing his hands on his pants and he had some perspiration on his for head.

"Well there is a lot of dancing," I said. I looked over at him and I could see sweat rings slowly forming in his armpits. "Are you okay?"

"I will be."

I pulled on the side if the road and killed the engine. "We're here."

"I can't do this," Colton said, shaking his head.

"What?! I did not drive you for 15 minutes just for you to be a coward. Now get the hell out of this car and into that house," I said.

Colton looked a little freaked out after what I said but he slowly got out of the car with shaky hands.

We walked on the side walk and up to the house. People were scattered on the lawn either making out, dancing, or stumbling around with a drink in hand. The music was really loud so you could hear it from out here and when we walked in, it about deafened me.
