So many of you fans out there love my Len Kagamine fanfics A LOT and cherish the comedy and romantic themes in them.

It all started back in my freshman year of high school (which I would say was  the best year of my high school life.)
I had just fallen into the "Otaku Hole" and I was pretty new to some animes (well not mangas because I always read them during my middle school years!)
One day before I left to go to my bus stop, I was watching YouTube videos
(the time where Pewdiepie was actually hilarious) and in my recommended I found a video that was called "Hatsune Miku Live Party 2013 in Kansai"
Not Kansas, KANSAI!
So my 14-year-old self was like,

"Hmmm the anime girl with long hair looks interesting in the thumbnail...I'm gonna watch it!"

Now get this: The video was like, 3 HOURS LONG and my bus would arrive in 10-15 minutes, so I skipped a few parts of the concert (what a dumb mistake I made, I missed so many good songs!)
That's when I came across one part of the concert and I read the song's title

Butterfly On My Right Shoulder

So I was like,

"This song title sounds interesting so I'm gonna watch it!"

Let me tell you guys...this was the most genius idea I ever did.
The song starts off low, then it grows and grows and then BOOM!
THE AUDIENCE SCREAMS AS THEY WAVE THOSE TINY YELLOW GLOWSTICKS TO THE HOLOGRAM ON STAGE!
THE BOY WHO WORE A CUTE SAILOR SUIT!

(No seriously you guys, my 14-year-old self used to call Len that before I found out his real name)

I felt like this huge rush of adrenaline flow right through me as I felt my heart pound loud and proud as I watched this cute boy dancing and singing like he was the next Kpop star!

(Yes, I also mixed kpop and jpop up when I was 14, go ahead, hate me)

After the end of his performance, I put my iPad down, go to school and kept repeating that song in my head for the whole day.
You know what else was stuck inside my head?
THE FLIPPING BANANA BOI WHO WAS NOT REAL AND YET I WAS STILL DREAMING ABOUT HIM!

And that's how I met Len Kagamine and got into vocaloid...and why I still have this agonizing crush on a boy who loves bananas and road rollers.
