The Finale: Part 3

(Y/n)'s POV:

We had dinner that night, which made things normal for me and Lenny.
It was at a fancy restaurant in some part of Tokyo and let me tell you, it's expensive! Even when I wasn't with Len at the time, I couldn't be able to eat at this place because I was too poor. Even the bread was $15 each! *^*
Len was acting weird during dinner though, he keeps playing with his food, tapping his foot on the ground and he kept fidgeting around. I kept asking him questions, but he would shake them off, saying "nothing's wrong" or "I just had too much caffeine".
This added some juice to my suspiciousness bar, but not enough to convince me that Len was up to something.
After dinner, we walked downtown, looking through all the small shops and staring at the twinkling lights that shined throughout the city.
Soon, we reached the park in the middle of the city and when we
entered...it was completely empty.
My eyes widened.

Rin said that Snake was going to clear everyone out of the park before me and Len arrive...is what she was saying true?

I thought as I held Len's hand tightly, my palms beginning to sweat. More juice filled up my suspiciousness bar, causing me to get even more suspicious than the first time.
Me and Len arrived at a small red bridge that overlooked the pond and city.
When we reached the middle, Len stopped me.

"(Y/n) wait, look at the city. Isn't it beautiful?~"

"Y-yes it is! It is beautiful..."

I nervously said as I rest my elbows on the ramp and stare at the city, then stared at Len. I have to watch my guard here, for if what Rin said was true, Len would probably end my life while I was distracted.
All he did was watch the city, the lights twinkling in his blue eyes. He then turns towards me with a smile on his face.

"But you're the most beautiful thing I ever seen~"

"Aww Len..."

"(Y/n) I need you to do something for me, close your eyes"

"Huh? Why?"

Juice filled my bar up again, why did he want me to close my eyes? Was he going to have this chance to make a move? But I trusted him, so I reluctantly close my eyes, suddenly breathing heavily. My heart was beating so fast it might explode any minute as my mouth became dry like the desert.
I heard him chuckle as he unzipped something.

"I've been waiting for this ever since we dated (Y/n)~ And now, it's finally happening~"

"L-Len..."

I kept my eyes shut. If he really was going to kill me, at least it'll be quick. I heard something click, the gun perhaps. Even if I ran away at this point, he would just kill me anyways. I can't believe I'm saying this but...goodbye cruel world!

Rin's POV:

I watched from behind the bushes as Len aims at (Y/n)'s face, smiling with delight. I knew that he was going to kill her! In a panic, I jump out of the bushes and threw millions of oranges at him.

"Ow ow ow ow ow ow! Rin! What the hell?!"

"You murderer! You idiot! You traitor! Leave her alone!"

I threw more and more oranges at him, giving him bruises on his face. (Y/n) opened her eyes, surprised to find me there.

"Oh thank God Rin! You saved me!"

"Huh?! What are you two talking about?!"

Len said as I tackled him to the ground, sitting on him. I pout at him.

"You knew what you were doing murderer! You were going to shoot your own girlfriend! In the face! Her beautiful face!"

(Y/n)'s POV:

"No I wasn't! Okay yes I was, but it's not a real gun! Look!"

Len pushed his sister off, grab the gun and point it towards me. He pulled the trigger...and out came confetti.
Me and Rin were confused.

"HUH?...."

"Don't you guys get it?"

We both shook our heads, earning a pout from him. He took out a flare gun and shot it up in the air, the red light shining brightly above us. Then fireworks went off in the distance, surprising me and Rin.

"Whoa...."

I was so distracted at the display that I didn't notice Len going on one knee, causing Rin to gasp. I turn towards him, shocked to see him in this position. He had a small black box in his hands. He stared at me with those blue eyes of his.

"(Y/n), we've been together for many years now and let me tell you, you've made these years the best years of my life. Sure we had problems in the past but, we were able to handle them well. I'm sorry if you thought I was going to kill you, I wanted to tell Rin, but you know she always ruins the surprise. So...will you do me the honor and be my wife forever and ever?~"

"L-Len..."

I felt tears well up in my eyes as I couldn't breathe. All this time, Len was going to propose to me, not murder me. I then hug him.

"Yes! I will!"

"Heh, I love you (Y/n)"

"I love you too, Banana Head"

I whisper in his ear as I lay my head on his shoulder, smiling. Rin just stared at us in the background, shocked. All she said was,

"WHAT?!"
