Nate's POV

I was sat in the driver's seat of my blue Mustang, with my Beta : Jacob next to me going on about the sour dried mangoes he wanted to buy from the store,and guess who ended up driving his dumbass there.

Honestly though the only reason I'm going is because my Wolf has been acting weird all day. He's super hype and jumping around in my head, I had to block him other at one point as he was giving me a headache with all his yelling. He kept shouting Mate. But he must be wrong because I can't smell her and I'm 20 years old usually, nearly all wolves find their mates at 18. I figured mine was already dead.

We finally arrived at the store and Jacob was already half way out of the car before I had even stopped it.

Impatient Wolf.

He looked like a excited pup who's just been on a run in the woods. All wolves loved to run in the woods, it helped clear our mind and relieve any stress. Maybe that's why I ran so much, being an alpha brings a lot of stress to the table.

"Dude, come on! get your ass out of the car so I can get my sour mangoes!"

I lowly growled at my best friend, warning him that I'll get out if the car in my own sweet time. He bent his head in submission, giving me enough time to get out if the car and we start going towards the store.

Jacob was already showing his way through the sliding doors and to the candy section.

My wolf Ace, was once again jumping around in my head screaming Mate. But I just blocked him out not in the mood for another headache.

My two warriors that had asked to accompany us also got out of my red Ferrari, and started making their way into the store.

As soon as I stepped into the store I heard a female voice scream :

"GOT THEM!"

I almost covered my ears with how loud that human screamed, being a werewolf means you have heightened senses including hearing. I then heard the most angelic voice, and then the most perfect smell hit me. Chocolate and mint. It was perfect, I had to find where the smell was coming from, Ace was still screaming Mate in my head, but it couldn't be, could it?

I followed the scent until I came to a stop in front of Jacob holding a girl with black hair that had been thrown into a high pony tail and was wearing skinny jeans with an oversized jumper. By the way Jacob was sniffing her, I knew it must have been his mate.

I felt a wave of jealous hit me at that moment, wondering if I would ever find my mate, and ever get to hold her like that.

Before I could even finish my thoughts, I felt a small body run right into me! And that's when I felt it, the shocks and tingles that only one person can make you feel, the smell also overtook all of my senses and I knew in that moment,that the person who just ran into me was in fact my mate.

I instinctively wrapped my arms around her small waist. Needing to bend a little to hold her small self. She only looked to be just over 5 foot. I out of instinct growled at the other make wolves around me, the growl was mostly aimed at my warriors who were not yet mated, but also at my beta as he is still another male wolf.

My wolf Ace, starting to take over and started to sniff our mates neck, he sniffed in the place he would one day mark her. I quickly took back the control before Ace could mark our beautiful mate here and now in this store. As much as I wanted to , I know that she would not like me doing so and her being human, it would most likely frighten her and possibly send her in shock.

I would not that to my mate, I would wait, even it was killing me, holding her will be enough for now.

I then found myself saying :

"MINE!"

Just to make sure all males near would know, this beauty was mine and mine alone.
