The date

I went to the place on the paper the day of the date. I noticed the fact that he wasn't waiting for me so I decided to walk into the place. Spencer was sitting in his office seat working on something.

"So Reid is that the girl you met yesterday" a man said walking up to Spencer's office desk.

"Yes and I will be taking her out for a date tonight" Spencer said finishing up his work and then getting up and gently taking my hand.

"So you think you are so smooth Reid since you have a date" the man said as Reid looked over at him.

"Well Morgan, since the fact that I do have a date and you don't. Yes I do think that I am so smooth. I will see you tomorrow" Spencer said then leading me out of the place and to his car. He opened his car door for me and I got into the car. He closed the car door for me before getting into his car and starting it up and driving to the restaurant he had picked for us to go to.

"So what made you want to talk to me yesterday at the coffee shop" I asked curiously looking over at Spencer.

"Well I wanted to talk to you because of the fact that you seemed like you were still transitioning into a new environment and doing it very badly" Spencer said asking, "did you move here two months ago trying to get away from a bad situation".

"Well you are right about the first part, but can we pretend that the last part is you just making a mistake about me".

"Meaning that you don't want to admit that it is true and or talk about it" Spencer asked as we reached the restaurant. Spencer parked the car door and then turned off his car. We both got out of the car at the same time. Spencer walked up to me."You know I could have opened the car door for you"Spencer said wanting to act like the gentleman he was.

"That's okay, but I will remember to let you do that next time" I said being sarcastic as Spencer gently held my hand. We both walked into the restaurant and within a few seconds we were shown to our seats. Once to our seat we then ordered our food and began to talk again.

"So how do you get around town if I may ask" Spencer asked politely.

"I ride the bus and I don't mind it as long as I am able to get to where I need to. Although other times I just walk to where I need to go to"I said.
