I got a new partner

I walked up to the coffee shop. I was supposed to met someone here who had sent me a message that they thought it would be easier on me if I made them my partner. I had agreed to talk with them though I didn't promise a single thing. The woman walked up to me and gave me a hug.
"I am the woman who messaged you about becoming your partner" the woman said then leaning away and then adding, "plus you do look really cute like Katrina said". It kinda creeped me out that the woman invovled Katrina's name. We sat down at the table and as the waiter was at our table we ordered our coffee.
"Yea, but that was just her opinion" I said then adding, "beside I also am with someone".
"Yeah, but she has good taste and so does your boyfriend" the woman said then adding, "by the way my name is Maggie". A few moments later our coffees were given to us and within a couple of seconds I took a sip of it.
"But aren't you wanting to have a real job where you know that you get a pay check and you don't put your life in danger" I asked.
"But I wouldn't be able to be near you" maggy said.
"Okay well I just want to make sure that you really want to do this. Especially because there is so many negatives" I said as I looked maggy in the face.
"Yeah, but I want to do it" maggy said stubbornly.
"Okay. I will tell my boss that you are my partner" I said then leaving and explaining the situation to my boss. She wasn't too happy with it but she went with it when I fully explained it to her.
