After giving my response Spencer looked at me skeptically as if he was trying to figure out if I was lying or not. "I am telling the truth"I said trying to defend myself.

"Oh. I get that, but I am trying to figure out why someone beautiful like you would think that way" Spencer said pausing, "plus I am trying to understand why nothing has happened to you cause of the fact that you are beautiful". I couldn't help but giggle and feel kind of weird at the same time. "I am serious. In the news girls who are beautiful a lot of times gets kidnapped from either the bus stop or while they are walking home. Most of the time by people that stalk them".

"But you don't know anything about me" I said as the waitress gave us our food.

"Though that's something about me. I am able to see how you behave and easily figure out what type of person you are and some about your past" Spencer said looking me in the eyes adding as I looked away, "you know people say that its human nature for someone to look away from the person they like because they are afraid to show that simple fact. Since the fact that your eyes can easily show how you feel about the person you are looking at no matter how hard you try not to and I have that you feeling that you are trying to push me away because of the fact that you have been hurt by someone you were close to in the past. Maybe you even thought about marrying him until you decided to leave". I felt slightly shocked about the fact that Spencer was able to see right through me as if I was a book he had just read.

"But yet I know nothing about you and beside there is more to people then what you think that you see" I said as Spencer took my hand.

"Lets just take this slow since I can see that you are too upset about your past relationship" Spencer said with genuine concern I his voice adding, "beside even if I am wrong we still will be able to get to know each other". 

"So where do you work exactly" I asked. 

"I work in the F.B.I." Spencer replied starting to eat the food he had ordered. After the date was over Spencer took me home and lead me to my door. He gave me a goodbye kiss. Before I went to bed I couldn't resist thinking about the date and the fact that Spencer had given me his phone number. I planned on texting him in a couple of days.
