an old friend comes to visit

I woke up the next morning and put on one of Spencer's shirt. I walked into ththe kitchen and saw that there was a note on the kitchen table with a cup of coffee siting right next to it. The note had said that Spencer had let me sleep in considering the fact that he thought that I looked cute sleeping and that he made me a cup of coffee before going to work.
One of my old time friends was sitting a the kitchen table until they say me. Then they got up and gave me a big old hug which caused me to hug them back in return. My friends name was Alexander.
"Haven't seen you in a long time though I am surprised by the fact that you moved away from Oswald. I never thought that you strong enough to do it" Alexander said leaning away to look me in the face.
"But I did tell you that at one point in time that I would get away" I said before Alexander interruppted me.
"Yeah, but that was like four years ago" Alexander said then adding, "though it is still good about the fact that you have been able to move on and start fresh". Alexander sat back down at the table and gave me a big smile as if he was telling me a secret. I took a sip of my coffee as I kept my eye on Alexander.
"So why are you here" I asked curious.
"I am here because I heard about your new job and about you getting engaged a couple of days ago" Alexander said folding his hands together.
"How do you know about that" I asked confused.
"Word gets around real quick and beside we are still from the same dark side of this country" Alexander said.
"Oh yeah that is true" I said.
"Well I have met so many people who want to be you partner" Alexander said.
