the morning after I moved in

I woke up the next morning and walked into me and Spencer's room and got undressed. I walked over to the closet and grabbed a black crop top, black short shorts, a pair of black above the knee high socks, with my glasses. I decided that today I didn't want to wear makeup.

"Are you sure that you should go out in that outfit" Spencer said skeptically.

"Well considering the fact that you are the only guy that has even been around me and shown interest in me" I said pausing, "yea I should".

"I just wanna make sure that you are not getting attention from other guys that you don't want to" Spencer said adding, "by the way I agreed that we would met up with the rest of my coworkers today for breakfast". Though Spencer was looking at me and trying to decided weather or not he approved of my outfit.

"And you thought that you would agree that I would go" I asked being sarcastic.

"No, I thought that it would be good for you to get out and socialize since you really haven't ever since you moved here five months ago. I care about you a lot" Spencer said giving me a kiss "you can't stay at home for the rest of your life. You can't let him have that power over you". A few moments later Spencer leaned away when someone knocked on the front door of our place. Both me and Spencer went to see who was at the door. Spencer opened the door and a man was behind the door.

"Morgan wanted me to come and make sure that nothing happened to you" the man said adding, "we will have a case by tomorrow by the way".
"Okay. So Morgan is already hungry from working out this morning" Spencer said being sarcastic. Spencer followed the man out of his house and to the cars outside. "Forgot Kat this is David Rossi. Rossi this is Kat mcgrew".

Once we got to the place I met the rest of Spencer's coworkers. I felt a little scared to be in a social situation like that though Spencer was sitting right next to me.

"So you two met at the coffee shop" hoch asked. I simply nodded my head as I took a sip of my coffee.

"What was you first reaction to having him talk to you" Morgan asked adding, "did he try to prove that he was smarter than you".

"I don't try to prove that I am smarter than you or anyone"Spencer said.

"I know that you would say that, but I was asking your girlfriend" Morgan said looking over at me.

"He was a nice guy and no he didn't try to prove that he was smarter than me. He just gave me good advice though I kinda felt that it was weird that I was getting advice from someone I didn't know" I said giving Spencer a kiss. 

Spencer somewhat leaned away and then whispered in my ear, "I am sorry, but I don't feel comfortable kissing you in front of others and it is not because of you. Its just me".

"So why did you leave the last guy you were dating for" Rossi asked.

"I don't want to talk about that" I said a little louder than expected. Spencer put his arms around my waste.

"Don't worry he is just trying to help you" Spencer whispered in my ear adding, "I will talk to you about it later. It just upsets her a lot".

"Spencer you can't treat her like a child. She will have to face him at one point in time" jj said.

"But I don't think that she is ready to face him yet" Spencer said.
