Chapter 7 Beacon

Pyrrah POV

I was currently on the porch sitting down looking around at the trees I can't believe today's the day the day I go into beacon and become stronger even after all the tournaments and all the photo shoots for cereal boxes it all built up to this but.....I have to leave Dad he's been through it all with me well I am his daughter but still we've been through everything from training to simply planting seeds in the garden I cherished every moment and every moment there was always a lesson to be learned no matter how small it was I can't help but start to sob a little thinking about all the times we had together.

Flashback 1 year ago

Me and Dad were fishing and wounded beowolf approached us my first reaction after all the training I've been through i was ready to kill it and stop it from harming anyone else in the future but yet Dad raised his hand signaling for me to stop confused and conflicted I let my weapon and shield down but what surprised was how he went up to it slowly both staring deeply into each other's eyes Before the beowolf could realize what was going on Dad put it into some type of trance and patched its leg up I was in utter shock he came back to me only to see the beowolf wake up and before leaving into the wilderness it looked back at us and took off.

Me:"how"

Dad/y/n:"no matter how weak how strong even good or bad if your able to show someone that there is a better path that they belong then they might just change"

Pyrrah: "but that's a Grimm our enemy"

Dad: "yes indeed it is but sometimes our enemy might become our friend" a slight chuckle comes from his mouth "who knows that Grimm might repay us but I guess we'll never know"

Pyrrah:" I guess you're right "

We hug and even though I surpass his skills (so she thinks lel) I still feel safe in his arms like nothing can hurt me but then I realize that in a year I got to beacon tears come out my eyes like a waterfall

Dad: "shhhh I'll visit even though it's still a year away you big baby"

I hit him slightly in his arm only for him to laugh

Dad: "still haven't surpassed me"

Pyrrah: "I barely hit you old man"

Dad: "hey I'm not that old..." he takes in a large breathe and exhales it "so now you think the princess can overthrow the king"

Pyrrah: "indeed I do"

We both let go and get into a fighting stance
But ultimately ends in me buying the meal for today.

Preset time

Tears streamed down my checks I don't know if I'm ready for this I jump slightly as I feel a hand on my shoulder

Dad: "nervous"

I look up slightly at the roof and sigh

Me:" am I ready Dad I mean I don't even know if I'm ready to meet so many people"

He shoves my shoulder so I stand up and look at him

Dad: "why would you even be afraid of beacon I mean look at you all grown I remember it like it was yesterday that we were cooking pancakes or shall I say I was cooking pancakes for you sleepyhead"

My hair gets rubbed as he puts me in a headlock

Me: "ok ok ok stop uncle uncle"

He stops and I look up at him

Me: "Dad I'm scared beacon it's different then any tournaments sure we fight here and there but getting to know each other and going to class together the amount of difference that makes is huge and what if people treat me differently because I'm famous"

I thought I was having a hard time doing this but seeing my dads tears come out his eyes broke me so I started crying to I'm not even sure if he's ready to let me go yet all of this seems so sudden yet we prepared for it for so long

Dad: "look your famous and i don't doubt that you will be treated differently by people but this is also a good thing because your true friends the ones you can trust won't ever treat you differently they won't treat you as the pyrrah they'll treat you as just pyrrah"

I slightly punch him in the shoulder

Me:"Thanks"

Dad:"now let's go before your late"

Timeskip almost there

Dad:"rule one"

Me:"I'm not following rule one"

Don't fall in love easily is easily broken I mean what if he's a nice guy though and handsome I mean it's not everyday you can find someone like that

Dad" already breaking rule one through three I see"

I come back I to the real world confused

Me:"What"

Dad:"rule two don't break the rules, rule three don't doze off in class and rule one don't fall in love easily or DAY DREAM about BOYS"

Me:" I most certainly was not"

Dad:"really then why's there drool on you"

I wipe my mouth only to feel no drool and hear Dad laughing

Dad:" really though on a serious note if you find love and he breaks your heart call me and I'll break his spirit got it"

Me:"got it"

Soon we arrive and I see the airship waiting I take a breathe and walk towards the opening before though I look behind and wave bye at my dad I see him smile and telling me to go as soon as I step in we take off.

Y/n pov
There she goes my only daughter that wave that smile was so much harder than I thought I couldn't bare to see her go yet I'm so happy for her *tears start to fall*.
