Chapter 16 The date

Pyrrha pov

After dad's story I felt bad having to leave him like that but he's strong I'm sure he'll be fine for a day.

Jaune:"hey Pyrrha"

I look over from my bed and see jaune still awake.

Pyrrha:"yes jaune"

Jaune:"I was wondering if you wanted to maybe go get something to eat tomorrow just us two"

Pyrrha:"sure I would love that"

I turn around in my bed and get comfy covering myself with my sheets.

Timeskip

Nora:"PANCAKES!"

Oh no.

Jaune:"oh no pancake alert pancake alert"

Ren:"I'm awake! I'm awake!"

Pyrrha:"hurry Noras gonna go crazy"

Ren:"she already is"

Ren quickly gets to work on his magical pancakes. It's just another day in our team.

Timeskip

We are all sitting in our dorm eating the pancakes that Ren made I have 2 while Jaune has 3, Ren has 2 and Nora has 49.

Ren:"Nora slow down or else your gonna choke"

Nora:"you know I never choke on your pancakes"

That's actually accurate I've never seen her choke once it's remarkable.

Jaune:"Pyrrha are we still on for today"

Nora:"OOOOOOOH Pyrrha and Jaune sitting in a tree K I S S I N G"

Ren:"Nora please calm down"

Nora:"calm down! Our teammates are dating!"

Ren:"Nora you do know they have to make it official right"

Nora:"oooooo!! Ren can we make it official"

Ren:"Nora..."

Pyrrha:"wait are you two..."

Nora:"yup!"

Nora stuffs her face with pancakes while ren seems unfazed.

Ren:"we were gonna tell you both but we kept getting caught up in things"

Nora:"specisl thngs"

Ren:"Nora please remember to finish your food"

Jaune:"how long"

Ren:"two years"

Jaune:"wow"

Ren:"I hope you two have fun on your date because me and Nora are going to the library to catch her up on her work"

Instantly Nora's face becomes drained of color.

Nora:"but rennnnnnn"

Ren:"you promised"

Nora:"ok"

Wait today is beacons off day so we don't have to do anything.

Pyrrha:"we can go right now jaune"

Jaune:"that sounds good"

Pyrrha:"let me get dressed"

I go to my drawer and grab a pair of blue jeans, a red undershirt and a red and black flannel.

Pyrrha:"ok Jaune I'm ready"

Jaune:"wow"

Just a single word and I start to blush we've barely known each other and I already feel like this could be something more than just friends.

Jaune:"you look beautiful"

Pyrrha:"th-thank you"

I grab my scroll and put it in my pocket.

Pyrrha:"I'm ready"

Jaune opens the door for me and I exit first and wait for him. He's wearing jeans and a plain white shirt, he might not be the strongest but you can see his muscles.

Pyrrha:"do you have a place in mind?"

Jaune:"I do"

Small timeskip

Going into town always is nice, people are always talking and some restaurants cooking escapes out there vents and fills the streets with a warm aroma.

Pyrrha:"I needed this"

Jaune:"I did to"

We keep walking and I can feel his warmth as we slowly get closer to each other.

Jaune:"where almost there"

Soon I can feel our hands brushing against each other.

Jaune:"where here"

I look up and the sign says, Joyful food; I've never heard of this place before. We walk in and the smell of noodles hits my nostrils hard.

Pyrrha:"is this a noodle shop"

Jaune:"yes there soup is real delicious"

We walk into the shop and sit at a small two person table. We look at the menus for a bit until a waiter comes to us.

Waiter:"shall I start you off with drinks for today"

Jaune:"I'll take a coke"

Waiter:"and for you miss"

Pyrrha:"green tea please"

Waiter:"I'll have these right out"

The waiter leaves to go get our drinks.

Pyrrha:"how did you find out about this place?"

Jaune:"I was looking for new places to eat and this one had the best reviews"

Pyrrha:"it smells nice"

Jaune:"it does"

I look up to Jaune and see that he's also looking at me, I blush a little bit, his aura is so warm and his eyes are welcoming.

Pyrrha:"I-I know we've only known each other for a short while but I can't help but feel..."

Jaune:"intrigued?"

Pyrrha:"attracted"

Jaune:"I feel the same way about you Pyrrha"

We both lean over the table and that's when I feel our lips connect, the warm feeling sends shivers down my body, it's really happening. We separate and soon after the waiter comes back with our drinks.

Waiter:"green tea for you and coke for you, have you both made up your mind on what to eat?"

We both order our food and laugh and talk the whole time. Once we finish our food we leave the restaurant with our hands intertwined, I can feel his blood flower faster when our hands are together. For the rest of the day we walk around town looking at stores that are selling an assortment of things but in the end we buy nothing. We walk back to beacon and that's when I see that the sun is starting to set. Have we really been out here that long? It does not feel that long.

Jaune:"I had an amazing time"

Pyrrha:"I did to"

Jaune:"I can't wait for our next date, it'll be even better"

Pyrrha:"oh, now I can't wait"

We both chuckle a bit before entering beacon, in the hallways we find out room and enter, Nora's snoring again while sleeping on Ren.

Jaune:"I guess there study time went good"

I laugh at his remark and climb into my bed.

Pyrrha:"goodnight Jaune"

Jaune:"goodnight Pyrrha"
