Today's the day I tell all my friends that I'm dying. I really hope they turn up, but I wouldn't blame them if they didn't show up. They are meant to be coming any minute now, so I'll tell you what happened later.

I'm multi-tasking, so I may seem a little distracted. I'm sitting with Carly and Sarah. We made up.
This is how the meeting went:
They arrived, shocked, not knowing what I was doing in the ICU. They still looked pissed. They sat and asked what was going on. I explained everything. My heart stopping and finding out I have terminal cancer. Carly just stared with her mouth nearly hitting the floor. She then burst into tears. She apologized for everything and I told her that she doesn't have to apologize I have forgiven her and apologized to her too. She then gave me the longest hug I've ever had. Sarah just excused herself, obviously feeling left out.
Carly then caught me up on all the gossip. She and Luke broke up because Luke admitted liking me!! I WAS FREAKING OUT WHEN SHE TOLD ME. She said I should invite him to come see me in the hospital later to tell her that I was dying. I agreed. She then told me to call Luke now. So I did. This is what happened:
Me: Hi, Luke, its me.
Luke: Hey. How are you?
Me: I'm ok. You?
Luke: Good, thanks!!
Me: Cool, Can you come to the Royal Childern's Hospital?
Luke: Yeah, why?
Me: You'll find out.
Luke: Seriously, tell me. You're scaring me.
Me: I'm sorry, but I have to tell you something and I can't tell you over the phone.
Luke: Ok, I'll be there in 10.
Me: Ok, bye!
Luke: See you soon!
This was about 10 minutes ago. So, he'll be here any minute!
*Knock Knock*
Crap, he's here. I'll talk later.

Ok. That was awkward. Luke just left and Carly came back in. I told her what happened.
I told him that I as dying and he just looked at me in shock. He then started to quietly cry. He then asked me out. YES, HE ASKED ME OUT!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.
I said yes. I am going to die in 60 days and I don't want to hurt him. To quote 'The Fault in our stars".
“I'm a grenade and at some point I'm going to blow up and I would like to minimize the casualties, okay?”
I told him this but that didn't stop him from kissing me. It was my first kiss and it was magical. It felt like I had butterfly's in my tummy and fireworks in my head. It was amazing. My nurse walked in at that exact moment. Embarrassing much? Luke went red and then said he had to leave. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and said 'I'll see you soon.' I nodded trying to stop blushing. The nurse took my obs and asked about him. I told her everything!
She had to rush off though because of a M.E.T call (Medical Emergency Tem). But she yelled out behind her that she would be back to keep talking about Luke. Carly then said that she had to leave. So I turned around, put my bed down and tried to sleep. But, all I could think about was that amazing kiss.So instead of sleeping I turned to lay on my back. I just keep replaying that moment in my head. I can't wait anymore. I'm going to call him.
I pick up the phone and dial the number, I know it by heart ;). It rings twice and then he picks up.
Luke: Hi, beautiful
Me: Hi, handsome
Luke: Whats up?
Me: Not much, just wanted to hear your voice.
Luke: Ok, is there anything I can do for you?
Me: No, just keep talking!
This went on for about 10 minutes, but then I needed sleep!!
It's been a huge day and I'm going to sleep, even though it's only 7:30pm.
