Chapter 24

Umi's POV

A week or so later

"GAH!" I yell as I dodge people. "Shoot, shoot, shoot, WHY CAN'T I CUSS!" I yell annoyed.

"WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING HERE!"

I dive behind a tree and I hide. "The fudge flipping mother of a female dog." I say annoyed as I get trapped and I growl lowly. "This is what I get for letting Kakashi send me on a fishy solo mission, that baka." I say annoyed and I jump up, grabbing onto a branch and I pull myself up.

"Who are you?" A guy with blonde hair and a stupid ascot asks me.

"My name? Why should I tell you my name when I'm being chased by you and your gang and a scardy looking dog, wait, hold up." I say and I look at the dog my closely. "Goshdangit, I got stuck in a kids cartoon." I mutter to myself and I jump down in front of the ascot guy with an annoyed aura, but they don't seem to feel it. "My name is Ami Uzumaki-Namikaze, now, can you let me through?" I ask him.

"My names Fred, this is Daphne, Velma, Scooby, and Shaggy." Ascot guy says with a grin.

I take one step back, really wishing I had my chakra, thankfully I have my Katana.

"What's that stick on your back?" Daphne asks me.

I blink, unamused. "It's a Katana with a rather sharp blade, now can I please get through?" I ask and Velma looks at me suspiciously.

"Why do you have a Katana?" She asks in a suspicious tone.

"To protect myself from evil things, I won't mention such evil things." I say to her as she gets uncomfortably close. "Where's Coco when I need her, this is strange and I have a boyfriend to go home to well, fiancée but not the point, I have two dogs well three if you count my boyfriend who acts like one." I mutter to myself and I get backed into a tree and just my luck, something appears behind everyone and I see it floating above ground.

I grab my Katana's handle and I run past everyone and I unsheathe it, holding the sharp end against whatever threat this is.

"What the? She's skilled." Fred says shocked.

I look at the thing in the eyes with a calm look and it disappears, my mind races at what could it have done to do that as I sheathe my Katana. "Great, now I have to think about this whole situation, man this sucks, I really want to go home and relax, but no, I just happen to get sucked into a portal and I get stuck in a kids show, 'cause why not?" I mutter as I walk, while keeping an eye around me also noticing that the Scooby Gang is following me. I mutter incoherent words before I get fed up with all this and I punch a tree, it doesn't break. "What the? I only used brute strength, normally it would have fallen." I say to myself and I look at my hand, confused and for once I feel defenseless without my strength.

"What are you doing? You could get hurt doing that!" Fred says to me.

I close my eyes and I calm myself down from the rising panic in my chest. "No brute strength, no chakra, no Byakugan." I say to myself and I feel shock and confusion from them. "I'm the strongest Jonin of the Leaf who's defenseless, this sucks." I say as I open my eyes and I stare forward towards a giant mansion which to my displeasure, the gang is walking up to, ready to knock, but I get there in time to put Fred's fist down. "Are you insane? You don't go up to a random house and just knock on the door! That's idiocy, didn't your parents or guardians tell you that walking up to a random house and attempt to talk to them, is unsafe?" I ask and they shake their heads and I sigh. "At least let an experience fighter knock, its more protection." I say with a small roll of my eyes and I knock, making sure my hand doesn't attach itself to my Katana handle.
