renjun sat down in his usual spot in his seat next to jaemin and donghyuck. jeno walked in afterwards and all the girls were swooning over him. renjun didn't get it, why were people still swooning over him when he literally cheats on everyone and is not committed?

jeno started to walk in renjuns direction, walking past him. jeno dropped his pencil "accidentally" and renjun picked it up for him. as he glanced at jeno to give him the pencil, renjun swore he saw jeno wink at him.

"you're cute." jeno commented.

renjun couldn't help but turn red at the compliment, but he knew how jeno would play around with everyone, so he didn't take the compliment to heart.

"you can go now jeno." jaemin rolled his eyes as he saw jeno getting close to renjun.

"jaemin? you're still here after what happened?"

"seriously how heartless can you get? just fucking get away from renjun."

jeno walked off and sat down near the back of the classroom. renjun could see hurt in jaemin's eyes. jeno played with jaemin real bad.

basically what happened was that jeno and jaemin had been childhood best friends until jaemin had caught feelings for jeno. he confessed to jeno when they were 14, and jeno accepted him. they had been in the happiest relationship filled with love and trust. everyone would be jealous of them when they walked down the hall. then jeno did something jaemin would never forget. one night jaemin came back from work, he was working to save up for promise rings for jeno and himself. he came home expecting jeno to be on the couch waiting for him, but instead he was on the couch with another girl. jaemin and jeno had a fight that night and jaemin moved out of their shared apartment.

ever since that incident, jaemin only had renjun by his side, since jeno started rumours about jaemin about how he was the one cheating on him. jaemin is now trying everything to prevent renjun from getting played by jeno. jaemin would always stay by renjun's side and text him asking how he was.

for renjun, he had a relationship with a girl around 2 years ago, but the two agreed it was too early and they weren't responsible enough to keep a stable relationship. lexi, the girl renjun was in a relationship with, was still good friends with renjun. this meant renjun wasn't really involved in a heartbreak.

jaemin knew about their relationship and he hoped they would get back together as they were a really cute couple. lexi treating renjun right and the same the other way around. jaemin hoped he would have ended up like them with jeno, but sadly jeno had other plans.
