"what the fuck?"

renjun was sitting on his bed when suddenly his phone lit up, indicating that there was a message. he went to check it and was shocked when he saw who it was from.

how did jeno get renjun's number? he thought about it and then it hit him. when jeno was getting that number the girl might have written it down wrong and it was renjun's number instead.

renjun decided to go with the flow. he played as the "lexi" character just to see how jeno would act and see just how it felt like. he knew it was kind of unfair to jeno, but to be honest he deserved it for playing with so many people.

he used the name "lexi" when renjun was asked what his name was, since that certain name was on his mind and it just sub consciously wrote out on the phone.

when their text conversation was over, renjun fell back onto his bed and sighed. he or "lexi" had a date with jeno on saturday, which was the day renjun would be revealed to jeno.

"why didn't i just tell him it was the wrong number? that way i wouldn't gotten myself into this mess." he thought. well, no point in chickening out now. these were moments were renjun let his curiosity get the best of him.

he battled in his mind whether or not to tell jaemin about the situation. if he did, jaemin would get overprotective and always ask if anything happened in the span of 2 seconds. if he didn't, renjun might accidentally fall for jeno in the process; and that would hurt jaemin for sure.

renjun decided not to tell jaemin for now, but he will eventually if things start escalating.

if jeno wasn't the person he was known for, renjun would have definitely had a crush on him. just look at jeno, one glimpse and your heart is already skipping beats. jeno was just so different to every other person. it was sad to see such a beautiful human being with such potential to just be a basic dumb playboy.

renjun personally didn't hate jeno. the only reason he stayed away from him was for jaemin's sake. if jaemin was to ever find out renjun and jeno had been dating, that is if they ever do; he would get so hurt and probably feel betrayal.

renjun loved jaemin, that is in a platonic way. he would never do anything to hurt him. so should renjun had even pretended to be "lexi"? should he just say its him and forget it ever happened? he couldn't, that was the problem. he wanted to know what it felt like, what jeno was like in action.

"i'm sure jaemin won't get that mad."
