"You're going down bitch!" Demi playfully growls, pointing her gun threateningly at you. "I hope you're both ready to lose."
"That's real cute Dem." Rolling your eyes, you giggled at her furrowed brows and angry pout.
"I'm not trying to be cute."
"...Just like a little puppy." Continuing to tease her, your team seems to tag along and all giggle at the petite woman in front of you, who's now looking increasingly agitated. "Come on team, let's talk!"
As a late birthday present for Demi, you had organised a battle at a paint-balling course just on the outside of LA. Demi's side made up of her own team and a few of her friends and family, while yours was also your own team and a couple of friends. Everyone was geared up and ready to go, however you had to await the final few guests that were joining when Demi starts smack talking you.
In a huddle, your team discussed their advantages and disadvantages and you almost had to laugh at how seriously they took the tactics of this game. It was paint-balling and nearly all of you were over 21, it shouldn't be this serious you told yourself.
"Look at those guys discussing moves like they have a chance. Y/N won't even have the stamina, she struggles after an hour in-" Demi taunted, cackling to Jill and Lauren, who stood by her side.
Ok, the bitch was going down.
"Ok guys, maybe if we all target a certain area. If you three take north, you four take the south because I have a feeling a lot of them will run and hide down there. There's a lot of bushes. You ten split up into two teams of five and one set take the east, others the west. Then us three will keep it moving, maybe too dangerous but if we're not moving then they're gonna suspect something. Are everybody's radios working?" The team nodded and tested them out, a serious of crackles and broken signals rang out.
"The last few are here!" You heard Kelsey call and watch as the last few members come through, armed in camo and kitted out in their protective wear. "Ok, we're at even numbers but there's three of you so someone will have an extra advantage."
Demi's little sister, Maddie didn't even think twice as she skipped over to your team, green paint adorning her skin, matching your own complexion. "Maddie!" Demi gasped, as she high five'd you and the rest of your team.
"Sorry Dem." Shrugging hopelessly, one of my team members started filling her in on the plan that we'd curated. Smirking at Demi, you watched as the other two headed to her team.
"Aw, I'm glad you got an extra hand. You're gonna need it baby." Stepping closer to you, her eyes never left your own as she closed the distance.
"Your ass is mine Y/L/N."
"We'll see about that. See you out there Lovato."

Horns blared through the trees, signalling the start of the game and if you weren't so cramped by the tiny space you'd fit yourself in, you'd laugh at how 'Hunger Games' like the whole thing was. The horns signalled the official start of the game and you counted down from ten in your head before starting to sneak out of the hiding place you'd taken cover in.
In the distance, you could already hear the sounds of the guns being fired and you kept low to the ground as you wound in and out of trees that decorated the forest floor.
After no longer than five minutes of glancing around for signs of anybody, you heard a gun shot go off just behind you and saw Maddie speeding straight for you.
"Run!" She yelled and you set off, signalling her to follow you. The two of you sprinted down the course, heading south as you heard the pounding of footsteps behind you. Coming up ahead, you saw a minor dip in the floor and immediately shoved Maddie down. Signing to her to stay there, you ran in the opposite direction, making sure they saw you and kept following.
