Dangerous(Peaky Blinders-John Shelby{Modern Day} Part 2)

*Ella's pov*

Today was the day Robbie and the Lee girl would be wed....Robbie was a nervous wreck as being the only woman in the Briton family I had to handle things with the bride...I stood in front of the mirror "Are you sure this is okay?"

John nodded as he straightened his tie "For the 100th time baby you look fine."

I sighed softly "I gotta get the kids ready.."

He stopped me "Relax alright you look amazing Maya is getting the kids ready."

I nodded "Okay."

John placed his hand on my lower back "I love you."

I smiled "I love you too..."

He nodded "Promise me you wont be this crazy come out wedding."

I shook my head with a laugh "I'll be much worse."

John gave me a quick kiss "Lord help me...but come on we gotta go.."

I nodded after getting the kids we left...while John kept Jack I took Katie with me since the 4 year old would be Esme's flower girl..I stood in front of her with a smile "Robbie loves with his entire heart hea a stubborn man but he had the most beautiful heart...you're marrying an incredible man and I'm not saying that because he's my brother."

Esme nodded "How does he look...I know how this works?"

I sighed "Me either but your family and my father wanted to keep this traditional to not meet until you're at the altar I voted for you to meet but alas no one listens to the baby sister..but he is very handsome he has my dad's hazel eyes...very tall strong.."

She smiled "Do you think I'll make him happy?"

I smiled "I think you will...I like you."

Esme smiled "Yeah.."

I nodded "Alright it's time...Katie my darling do what we practiced okay then you can come sit with me and daddy yeah?"

Katie nodded "Kay mummy."

I had to smile we never corrected her I was the only mother she knew "That's my girl.."

Esme smiled "Thank you for everything Ella."

I smiled and walked out...Katie did phenomenal and came and sat on my lap her little fingers playing with my ring as the ceremony went ok the Lee family and my father insisted on the lavish ceremony to show unity not only between the Lee's and the Briton's but the Shelbys as well...Katie eventually fell asleep on my lap..I whispered "I forgot how long gypsy ceremonies can be."

Polly nodded "You were a child the last time you were apart of something like this....in fact you fell asleep on your mum just like Katie has."

I smiled down at the small girl..once the ceremony ended I held her as the greetings were done Jack running off with Finn no doubt...I looked up at John "Can you take her?"

John nodded gently taking her "It's alright Princess it's just daddy."

Johnny spoke "So when is the big day?"

I glanced at John "In a couple months once school is done."

He nodded "Ah that's right you're a teacher.."

Thomas nodded "One of the best..2 years in and they already rave about our Elle."

Johnny nodded "Seem a bit young to have two little ones yeah?"

I felt John tense...I smiled quickly diffusing the situation "Well life happens doesn't it I may not have given birth to them but they're mine...no different than a man stepping in for a child...I just get the blessing of two."
