*Ella's pov*

It had been a year since that day and frankly I barely spoke to Thomas unless it had to with The Garrison..but he kept his word he got the charges against them dropped...we still worked but we settled into a beautiful home just outside of Small Heath in the country...we welcomed a daughter Clara Madeline Rose after our mothers...Clara was now 10 months old, Jack was now 10, Katie was 9, Sammy was 4 and little Ben was 2 1/2...I had the children bundled up even little Clara who was on my hip watching her brothers and sister play...I smiled as I felt a kiss pressed to my cheek "Hi"

John smiled "How are two of my beautiful girls?"

I smiled as Clara reached for her father "Great...Clara crawled this morning she wanted the cookie Jack had."

He laughed kissing her little cheek "Just like her mum."

I smiled softly "Robbie is coming tomorrow to drop off some stuff Esme got the kids."

John nodded "Did they find out the sex yet?"

I nodded "Another boy...Esme is pissed she was so sure this was a girl."

He chuckled "You thought the exact same thing that Katie would be our only girl."

I ducked under his arm as we watched the children "Tommy sent the children gifts."

John nodded "What did you do with them?"

I sighed deeply "They're under the tree...at the end of the day he is still their uncle and despite it all I want the kids to know family is family."

He nodded "Baby it has been a year."

I nodded "I know but it's hard to forgive John he almost left me with 5 kids and without their father...baby I still care about Tommy hell he's as much my brother as James, Will, and Robbie but you, Arthur, Robbie, and Michael almost did life because of his actions his decisions...Polly made that decision on her own so that one I can't blame on him...John if we keep forgiving all his actions nothing will ever change."

John nodded "I'm not disagreeing with you baby I'm not...I'm just God love our mums would be heartbroken over how our families have split."

I nodded "Yes they would."

He looked down at me "We should fix it...they'll all follow your lead babe."

I sighed looking at my children "Okay."

John carefully dipped his head minding the sleeping child resting on his shoulder as he pressed a gentle kiss to my lips "I love you."

I smiled softly "I love you too."

He smiled as he spotted a car turning into the drive "Expecting someone?"

I smiled "Ada...wanted to bring the children presents and see Clara."

John chuckled "Kids come on we have company."

I smiled softly as the children came running I scooped Ben up as we walked around the house "Look who it is.."

Katie giggled "Aunt Ada!"

Benjamin squirmed "Mummy down.."

I sat him down with a laugh as the 4 ran towards their aunt "Careful."

Ada quickly dropped to her knees meeting all 4 children for a hug "My goodness look at you my handsome nephews and my beautiful niece."

I smiled "Hi Ada.."

She stood with a smile "You look beautiful Elle...and little Clara such a daddy's girl huh.."

I nodded "I think she has Katie beat."
