Dangerous(Peaky Blinders-John Shelby{Modern Day} Part 6)

*Ella's pov*

These past couple months have been hard especially after Grace was killed after a man shot her at a charity dinner she and Thomas were hosting...Thomas was taking it hard considering the bullet was meant for him...I was silently thankful none of the children were there that night...the funeral was rough on everyone we were getting a new side of Thomas that had all of us worried...with the kids all either with my sister-in-laws' or with the nannies I was at the Garrison a few weeks had passed and things were tense within the family so here I sat talking to Linda..I sighed "How is Arthur?"

Linda sighed "Feeling guilty he didn't react fast enough to save Grace."

I nodded "John too...I'm worried about them all especially Tommy...I know you don't care for him but he's family and Charlie poor little Charlie he's so confused.."

She nodded "I may not like Tommy much but he means the world to Arthur and I liked Grace..and she would want us all to make sure Tommy and Charlie were taken care of."

I nodded sitting a cup of tea in front of her "How are you feeling?"

Linda sighed "I'm not important."

I smiled softly "You're pregnant Linda of course you are."

She nodded "With Sammy how did you handle all of this?"

I shrugged "I raised Jack and Katie...Jack was about Sammy's age and Katie was barely 5 months old when Martha died...so dealing with children I was a used to...my pregnancy with Sammy was pretty easy John was incredible the whole family was with Ben I had a horrible time I was so sick with him and labor was horrific."

Linda nodded sipping her tea "Arthur told me about that Ben was 6 weeks early."

I nodded "I was terrified it was rough on us both my pressure kept dropping so did Ben's so they did an emergency csection but Ben ended up being completely healthy a little small but healthy I spent a few days in the hospital."

She nodded "Did John stay?"

I nodded "Until I made him go to work my dad was there and so was Pol and Grace not to mention my brothers' wives."

Linda nodded "Can you have more children?"

I nodded "Oh yes but I had originally told John I wanted to wait till I got Ben out of diapers and Sammy into school."

She raised an eyebrow "Originally?"

I sighed "I might be pregnant....I'm a little over a week late so I'm waiting it out...please don't say anything until I know for sure please...I go to the doctor tomorrow...I'm really hoping its stress but we got drunk one night the kids were gone and we didn't use protection I'm on the pill still but it only protects so much."

Linda nodded "Would you be upset if you are?"

I shook my head "Not at all I want more kids I just wanted to get past all this potty training first.."

She patted my hand as the others walked in and lowered her voice "I won't say a word."

I smiled softly as John kissed my cheek "Hi love."

John smiled "You look lovely today."

I smiled "Thank you."

Linda gave me a smile and went over to Arthur with her tea

He raised an eyebrow "You two are getting along finally."

I nodded "We understand each other and right now we all need to be together for Tommy and Charlie."
