Overprotective(Peaky Blinders-Shelby Brothers/Bonnie Gold: Part 1)

*Elizabeth's pov*

Being overprotected wasn't anything knew to me being the baby of the Shelby family being 5 minutes younger than my twin Finn so naturally I was very protected by the Peaky Blinders more so my big brothers...the past few years have been rough since they returned from war from loved ones dying to may other things the best parts being my nieces and nephews but what we were heading to do now my heart was shattered we were putting my big brother John to rest today I sat at the table staring at the bottle of whiskey sitting on the table I felt my aunts hands rest on my shoulders "Why can't this be a dream?"

Polly kissed my head "Oh love I wish it was too.."

I sighed deeply "I still need him Aunt Pol he is the only one who didn't treat me like a baby Arthur does, Ada does, Tommy does and it's much worse since Grace died...even Michael treats me like I'm a kid and he's barely 3 years older than me....but John never did."

She nodded "They all are very protective of you love they have since the day you and Finn were born...especially Tommy...but John loved you dearly Arthur and Tommy just don't want to believe the baby is a woman now..John had common sense."

I nodded slowly standing up "Aunt Pol."

Polly pulled me into a hug "Its okay love you're allowed to cry."

I nodded sobbing into her shoulder...now here I stood Ada rubbing my back as we said goodbye to John...I was pulled to the ground as shots rang out when we realized what had happened I shoved Thomas "What the hell were you thinking?!"

Thomas gripped my wrist "Elizabeth calm down...I did this for a reason."

I fought against him "A reason we are putting our brother to rest you bastard you had us out here like sitting ducks."

He nodded "I had it handled I called Aberama Gold."

Johnny Dogs sighed "Wonderful."

I pulled away from him "Tommy."

Thomad gently took my face in his hands "You were never in any real danger Eliza none of you were it was planned out completely."

I nodded slightly..now here I stood with my brothers along with Ada, Polly and Lizzie...I decided to walk but tripped only to get caught before I hit the ground I looked up meeting the brown eyes of Bonnie Gold "Thank you."

Bonnie helped me stand up "No problem."

I smoothed out my dress "I always tell Uncle Charlie someone would break an ankle out here one day."

He chuckled "Good thing I was here then."

I smiled "Elizabeth."

Bonnie smiled "Bonnie....you're Tommy's daughter?"

I laughed "God no...I'm his sister I'm Finn's twin."

He nodded "Ahh the baby Shelby."

I nodded "That would be me.."

Johnny Dogs walked over "Elizabeth you shouldn't be alone with a Gold."

I gave him a warm smile "Oh Johnny I'm a big girl I'll be okay."

He sighed "Elizabeth."

I placed a hand on his arm "I'm okay promise I can handle him."

Johnny Dogs nodded and walked away

Bonnie raised an eyebrow "They are very protective of you aren't they?"

I nodded "More than you'll ever know."
