All she could see was darkness as her eyes opened slowly. She blinked into the blackness that surrounded her, trying to make out something, anything, that could explain what was happening and where the hell she was. She could feel her body being forced into a sitting position on what... a chair? Trying to sit up straight, JG shook her hands and feet only to realize that they had been tied onto the chair. She struggled to break free when suddenly, she heard a booming loud voice say from across the room, "I think she's awake sweetie." A male voice. JG sat quietly now, not moving an inch of her body. her heart beat faster than ever and she could hear herself breathing. Someone moved along the rough floor. She could hear boots scraping along the hard ground as the noises came closer and closer every second. Footsteps. The noises continued until the person got close to JG. She could feel someone standing in front of her now, so close. Fuck! Her eyes burnt painfully as a huge ball of light got flashed into them. A flashlight was lit upon her face and she turned her face the other way with both her eyes shut in pain. "Looks like the birthday girl's awake, dad." A female voice. Who was she? What the fuck did she want? Opening one eye and trying to cope with the bright light that was directly lit onto her face, she looked at the woman, but only to see a dark figure holding the flashlight. "Who..." Her voice came out hoarse and rough. "Who are you?" "Me? Oh, you'll find out soon." The woman said. She bent down and moved her face closer to JG, so close that JG could literally feel the woman's warm breath against her lips. "Happy birthday Judy." She whispered as JG's heart skipped a beat. How the fuck does she... "Don't ask me how I know that. I'll tell you everything, I promise. You just need to be patient." The woman touched her left shoulder as JG jumped in surprise. Then she took a step back saying, "Let's start by showing you my face, shall we?" She snapped her fingers, giving a sign to whoever was back there. Suddenly, a little light came on from the ceiling and at first she saw bright, blurry figures. All she could make out was a man standing at a corner of the room and a woman standing in front. She blinked her eyes, feeling as if she knew the woman before and although her face looked all blurry, she could still see a bit and she knew it was a familiar face. A bit of a déjà vu appeared to her. Am I supposed to know this woman? She blinked again and again until the face became completely clear, which startled her and froze her in shock. It was her. She was real and alive and breathing and standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. This woman had the exact same face as the mysterious girl she had seen in her nightmares. I knew it. JG's eyes, which were bulging out, were still focused on the woman's face. I knew that you're someone I used to know. Realizing that she had not breathed in a while, she took a deep breath in and let it out, still finding it hard to believe the fact that she had found the mysterious girl. Or rather, the mysterious girl had found her. Although she looked a bit different than in JG's dreams. The girl she dreamt about seemed younger, almost looked as if she was around sixteen years old. This woman however, looked older and more mature. As if she was in her mid-twenties. "Do you remember me?" She asked, a bit of anger burning in her eyes. I want to. "No." JG said softly. "But you think you know me?" "Yes." "You've seen me in dreams." Nightmares. "Yes." JG was confused. How did she know all that? "Judy Grey. Those dreams are just lost memories." The woman said, taking one step closer. She raised a hand and softly played with Judy's curls. "My name is Reina Karev." She said. "Then she pointed at the man standing behind. "That's my father, Richard." She looked back at Judy and smiled. Not a very kind smile, though. Looked more like an evil one that had a lot of secrets behind it. No more secrets. Judy tried hard to remember the names. Reina. Reina? She could not remember. "You used to call me Ray-ray." Reina said, smiling even more. She was starting to creep JG out. Ray-ray? Wait! Why did it sound so familiar? She used to call her that? So she did know her! "And?" JG raised an eyebrow. "Am I supposed to know you?" Reina laughed. A cruel laugh like those witches and evil queens have in Disney cartoons. Then she bent down and looked deep into JG's big, green eyes. "Of course, darling." She said, moving closer and pressing her left cheek against Judy's. Reina opened her mouth as she softly whispered words into JG's ear. Words that nearly killed her in shock. "I'm your sister."
