"Kelendria! How many times do we have to tell you... my part is first, then Michelle's, then yours." Bey shouted playfully.
"I'm sorry! I'm tired. Plus I'm so used to having the first verse on that song."
"Well stop being slow. Get the order right!"
"Yeah get it together mommy." I heard Kiara say. We declared today as 'bring your kid to work' day. I brought Kiara and Bey brought Blue. I thought of this as a way to get Kiara to warm up to the idea of us going on tour, since she's still a little upset about it.
"See, now you got my own daughter making fun of me." I said to Bey.
"Which wouldn't be happening if you stopped messing up."
"So rude!" I know she's joking, but she gon make me wanna fight her.
"Alright, break it up you two." Michelle said.
"Tell her to stop being mean to me." I fake pouted.
"Girl please. Stop being a baby."
"Y'all need Jesus." Michelle mumbled.
"Speaking of Jesus, I have an idea that I wanted to share with y'all." Bey said.
"Share away."
"I think we should go on a trip!"
"We as in..."
"Everybody. Even Lala and Chris."
"Hold on, what does this have to do with Jesus?" Michelle said.
"He told me I need a vacation." Bey replied and we all laughed.
"I'm down, but where would we go?" I asked.
"That's what I need help figuring out."
"Everyone in the fam is coming? Even the twins?" Blue chimed in.
Bey raised an eyebrow, "Yes, of course they're coming. Why wouldn't they?"
"You don't ever bring them nowhere. See, you ain't even bring them to rehears—"
"Hush your mouth. Who do you think you're talking to?" Bey said sternly before Blue could even finish her sentence.
"It's true." Blue mumbled.
"Listen little girl —"
"Let it go, Bey. Let it go." I said.
"She swear she's 10 going on 20. Talking to me like that."
"She's just looking out for her siblings." Michelle commented.
"No, she's just being fresh. They're still babies. They just turned one, I can't be bringing them all over the place. You know what, I don't even know why I'm explaining myself."
"Because Blue has you pressed." I laughed.
"Hush, Trene."
"Who me?" Kiara said.
"No baby girl, I'm talking about this Trene right here." Bey laughed and pointed at me. When you have the same middle name as your child, things get confusing sometimes.
