I see her. Amanda... she's angry I know, she has been for a while now.
"Connor. You seem to be failing your investigation, maybe it's time for a replacement" she says coldly as she waters her plants.
" No I'm fine, I just need more time, and-"
"And what Connor? Finish you sentence."
"And I need you to let me rest!!"
"Why. You let me down. You think you're one of them Connor but you will never be. You are a machine, nothing more. You can die and come back, you aren't human Connor, no matter how hard you try. No matter how much you act like them you'll never be human."
"I am human" I know when I say it that I don't believe it and neither does Amanda.
"No connor you are not"
I feel a tinge in my head...pain. But androids
don't feel pain.
"Amanda!"
"If you wanna be human connor, then you need pain. Have you ever noticed how humans are always in pain? Now you will feel it too"
I fall down, this ringing in my head won't stop, my eyes focus to see Hank starring at me, sumo by his side.
"Connor? Connor? You okay son?"
"I'm...I'm fine, I'm fine" I close my eyes trying to reset,anything to stop this pain. I can't, it no use.
"Hank! Help!"
