"Connor!" Hank called from the couch, " Got any plans for today son?"

"No lieutenant I was thinking I would just clean the house, maybe walk Sumo, he has lost a pound since I started running him. I read an article about dog health the other day that was very..."

"Okay whatever Connor, sounds boring, I'm going to the bar"

"Lieutenant"

"It's Hank at home Connor"

"Hank it's 10:30am"

"Well Connor it's 6 o'clock somewhere"

"London"

"What?"

"In London, it would an acceptable time to drink"

"Okay, so just imagine that we are on London's time"

"But... we are currently in Detroit"

"I know where we are Connor! I'm saying imagine! Just pretend we are in London"

"I'm afraid I don't have that capability"

"Jesus Connor, do you have to take everything so literally"

"Um... Yes?"

"Yes."

"Hank I'm sorry you seem upset"

"Fuck off Connor, I'm going to the bar, find something to do."

Hank stormed out leaving Connor very confused. He walked over to the table and started to clear garbage. After a while Connor gave up, boredom coming over him. He looked at Sumo.

"I should go find Hank" Sumo stared back blankly. Connor patted him lightly and let the house.

"Hank you wanna up that bet?"

"300$" Hank said, sterling looking the other man in the eye. "And you to shut up". The man whistled.

"You sure? Cause I wouldn't want to take an old mans money. I'm a damn good shot" He smiled dryly at Hank as he tossed the dart into the board. The crowd that had now formed around the two men roared. The man looked at Hank.

"See, I'm the best Hank. Nobody beats me. Ever"

"Okay, shut up or I knock out your teeth. I still have my shot." Hank, very drunk, too a dark and threw it. It pitifully landed in front of the board, not even making it on. The crowd roared again, but this time in laughter at Hank. "Dammit," Hank mumbled.

"Lieutenant?"

Everyone turned. Connor stood at the doorway of the bar, when he saw Hank he moved inside closing the door.

"Hey!! Didn't you read the sign asshole! No droids, get out of my bar!" Connor walked over to Hank."HEY, WHAT DID I JUST SAY!" Hank looked at the man dryly.

"Fuck off Camsky, I pay your bills, the android is with me" Hank turned to Connor, stroking his beard as he did. "Connor, what the hell are you doing here? I thought you were going to clean"

"I got bored"

"Bored?"

"Yes."

"Do androids even get bored?"

"I...I guess so"

"Hey!" Hank and Connor turned. "Anderson, we still have a game going here, unless you wanna give up and give me my 300$. I mean why prolong it, you are gonna lose."

"Connor, stay here"

"Wait. Lieutenant, maybe I can finish the game?" Hank turned to the other man who shrugged. "Okay, but you better not lose"

The man threw his dart, it just missed the middle. Connor stepped up, departed his legs and concentrating his aim.

He threw.

It landed. Hank yelled out in joy. "Omg! YES! CONNOR YOU ARE FUCKING AMAZING WHEN DID YOU LEARN THAT!!!"

The man looked stunned like he was frozen in place.

"I'll take that 300$," Hank said smiling at Connor proudly.

The man reluctantly handed it over.

"Hey!' someone from the crowd called out. "He is a droid, how is that fair!!" The rest of the crowd yell in agreement. The man seemed to have woken up from shock and he looked at Hank.

"Yeah, it's not fair. Give me my money back"

"Look kid. Life just isn't fair sometimes. You just gotta suck it up."
Hank said smiling at the man. The lounged for the bag but Hank dodged.

"Connor! Run!" Connor and Hank ran out of the bar, they ran all the way back home before Hank collapsed, laughter consuming him. He sat on the steps of his house, smile wide still laughing as he opened the bag to see the 300$.

"I don't understand...what is funny?" Connor asked sincerely.

"Oh, everything Connor...Everything"
