The truth

Julia's pov

After the hug we quietly worked on what we needed to and I went home. I didn't even get a foot into the house when my phone buzzed. it was hayes.

Hayesie: hey!:)

Me: wanna hangout tomorrow? we can finish part one of the project and we could watch a movie?

Hayesie: that would be cool! I'm glad were talking again

Me: me too I missed you hayes <3.

Hayesie: come over after school so we will have enough time. when I tell sky were friends again she will light up! she loves you so much lol

Me: I miss her a lot! I have to take a shower I'll see you tomorrow though byee!<3

I had a bathroom connected to my room because I was the youngest out of three and my other siblings were in college. I hopped in the shower and the hot water felt nice. I got out and put my pjs on. I walked out on my balcony with my favorite book: looking for Alaska even though I've read it multiple times. I looked up and saw hayes on his balcony.

"Hey! Hayesie!"

"JESUS you scared me julia!" he laughed.

"You look tired hayes."

"I haven't slept in a couple days."

"Why?"

"Oh nothing you should be worried about."

" Not it's okay tell me."

He looked down as he told me.

" I've been Getting bullied again for vining and having fans. everyone thinks I'm leaching off of nashs' fame but I'm not!"

"Awe I'm sorry hayesie. I would hug you if I could." I made a pouty face.

All of a sudden he disappeared. well then. then I saw him again he was climbing the side of my house.

"Hayes your crazy! my parents would have let you in they love you!"

"Oh." he laughed and ran to the front door. he came up and I immediately hugged him. we continued talking about him getting bullied. I was getting tired so I laid my head in his lap as he talked. he started playing with my hair and I felt a couple tear drops on my head.

"Hayes please don't cry it will get better I promise." I hugged him.

"It's just so hard I'm vining because I love it and my fans love it but the people I see ever fricking day harass me over my choices. it sucks okay? you don't understand everyone loves you." he looked away.

" Oh but I do know hayes."

"What?"

"Um nothing." I almost blew my cover.

I think he should know I mean were best friends again.

"Hayes I have to tell you something. my life might seem fun and 'perfect' but it's not even close. hayes I've been secretly depressed for a year now. I take antidepressants everyday and I'm closely monitored. a couple months ago I was so close to committing suicide. I had been depressed for awhile and I cut, alot. so yeah I do know what it's like."

"Why didn't you tell me julia?"

"I didn't tell anyone. I was so scared because I was popular I thought I had to be perfect and that was hard for me because I used to be super insecure before and I still am I just hide it under a smile. not even Megan my best friend knows this. please don't tell anyone." I whispered as a tear came out because it hurt to explain.

"I promise I wont." he said as he kissed my cheek.

"I love you hayesie poo." I smiled and sniffled.

Hayes' POV

I can't believe she didn't tell me this! it was all around the time we stopped talking that's probably why. I leaned down and kissed her head that was resting in my lap after she finished talking.

" I love you hayesie poo."

OH MY GOD DID SHE REALLY SAY THAT IM DYING INSIDE. what do I say?

"I love you too julia boo." I smiled at the nicknames I said.

" Can I stay the night? remember tomorrow's saturday."

" Oh I totally forgot! I would actually love that hayesie." she smiled.

I felt butterflies that were blowing up in my stomach. I really loved her.

"I'll get a pillow and a blanket and sleep on the floor." I proceeded.

"No! You can sleep right here next to me I have a big bed don't worry." she laughed. her laugh was perfect, like the rest of her.

We put a movie on and cuddled. I wrapped my arms around her and rested my head on top of hers. we watched her favorite movie, safe haven. I don't mind watching chick flicks as long as I'm with julia. I've made my mind up. I want Julia and only Julia. I will do anything I have to to get her. I love Julia Lynn long.
