Instinctively I ran forwards, though I was too late as the blue haired boy crashed into the plush carpet. I was just happy he didn't slam into the side of Todd's bed post.
Panic ran through me as I tried to shake him awake, though it didn't seem to work as his eyes lay rolled back into his head.
"Todd... Todd what do we do I can't loose him," my voice shook as I turned to the redhead who was standing quickly.
Hastily he ran to Sal's side alongside me and checked his wrist for a pulse. Goosebumps riddled my body as everything felt cold.
"He's still alive... I ... I don't know what could've happened though, help me get him up to the bed," Todd nodded to me as the two of us grabbed him - though I probably wasn't much help due to how much I was shaking.
"Liz he's gonna be okay I promise," he directed his attention to me as I began to breathe heavier then usual, a panic attack being just around the corner.
Hot tears formed in my eyes as I shakily nodded my head to him, the two of us sat at the end of his bed - our eyes locked onto Sal.
"It could've just been from shock... Though he usually doesn't pass out cold for those things..."
Nervously he began to pace the room - trying to come up with a reasonable explanation, though just as he was about to speak again Sal shot up.
"What.. Where ... Liz?" Rapidly his eyes shot around the room as he began to breathe heavily, quickly I wrapped my arms around his neck as he squeezed me back.
A few tears dripped down my cheeks as we held each other tightly, I don't know what I would do without him..
"What happened? A-are you okay?" Todd looked to him worriedly as we pulled away from each other.
"Yeah.. Yeah I'm fine... I think I just got overwhelmed is all..."
He rested his head in his hands as I slowly rubbed his back - though other then that he had seemed to return completely to his normal self... No sign of any damage or even weariness in his voice.
He slowly rubbed his eyes before looking up to me, giving me a look indicating that there was more to it.. We just needed to be alone.
"Oh, right I um.. I think we should probably head back to your place for now, let you rest?" forming some excuse the two of us stood - Sal stumbling a bit.
"She's right Sal, you should rest up, but for now I'm going to try to find out more about that chip," Todd smiled to the two of us as - giving us a small wave before he sat back down at his computer. Sal and I showing ourselves out.

"So what it was just a.. White room?" I looked to the boy slouched against the elevator, the two of us heading up to - what I assumed was floor 5.
It now came clear to me as to why he didn't want to tell Todd... All of this was becoming way too overwhelming.
"I mean I guess so... But it wasn't even a.. A room and there was just this voice that kept speaking in gibberish I... It hurts my head to think about,"
Irritably he rubbed his temples, and calmingly I began to play with his hair as he wrapped his arms around me.
"Hey it's okay... Don't worry about that right now okay..?"
He nodded in response as the elevator doors opened, though instead of being greeted with rotted wood and torn carpet, the floor we were on was completely normal.
"Sal why are we here?"
The two of us stepped out and just by looking to the left I could immediately tell it was our floor based on the boards adorning 403.
