Wednesday 7th November

"Hey, Luke." I skip over to the till, nothing in my hands. I don't need anything today, either, and I may as well save my money. He tilts his head up, from where he was fiddling with his fingers, smiling.

"Gee!" He grins, "how was your evening?" He asks genuinely.

"It was..uh." I'm put on the spot, "I didn't do anything besides seeing Natasha because we had an English project to do."

"What was it about?" He asks, smiling wider, as I lean onto the plastic counter, "I don't really like English. I'm no good at it."

"Oh, I like English. The project is really boring though, we have to do stuff about Shakespeare and poetry." I mumble, "I think Shakespeare is, like, good at what he does, but, like, he's really boring."

"He's pretty famous though." Luke comments, rubbing his nose, "I think I'd like to be famous." He looks straight into my eyes, "it'd be cool, like, Jennifer Lawrence would know who I was."

"That would be cool." I admit, "but I don't really like the idea of paparazzi or being mobbed and newspapers being able to look into all your stuff." I say, before adding, "and rumours would get seriously annoying."

"I wouldn't mind being rumoured about going out with Jennifer Lawrence. Or Mila Kunis." He laughs, "but I do agree with you. Like, it would get annoying."

"Do you know what else is annoying?" I ask, smiling slightly.

"What?"

"School." I laugh, "bye, Luke." I wave and turn around. I hear a muffled, 'bye' alongside a chuckle.

(Sry it's rly short okay I had no ideas for this chapter but it like gets better bear with bear with)
