Sorry this is so bad lol, I wrote it on a plane :P
"What did I do to deserve you?" Roman asked, staring starstruck at Virgil, looking beyond stunning in a wedding tux.
"What do you mean?" he asked, looking up at Roman, chuckling a little, and leaning into him.
"I mean, what did I do to deserve you?" Roman repeated. "I have no idea how I got so lucky because, dear God, I got so lucky," he said, whispering the last bit into Virgil's ear, as if it's a precious secret for only Virgil to know.
"I'm the lucky one, mister," Virgil replied, gently grabbing the tie of Roman's wedding tux and pulling him into a kiss.
Next to them, a camera flashed, taking a photo. "Cheers for the happy newly weds!" the photographer called, snapping another photo of Roman and Virgil while flowers were thrown into the air.
"So lucky," Roman breathed again, as if he could barely believe that he of all people got to marry Virgil, the most amazing being on the Earth, at least in Roman's eyes. "So lucky."

Roman stared at Virgil through the tears. He stared at Virgil who was standing at their open door, suitcase in hand. He stared at Virgil who was about to walk away with someone else. Someone else who wasn't Roman.
When he spoke, his voice was shattered and hoarse, destroyed, but most of all, confused.
He simply didn't understand one thing.
Of all the people in the world, why was it Roman who got hurt? Roman who had lived his whole life trying to be the best version of himself. It was unfair, dear God, it was so unfair. Why was it Roman who was cheated on? Why was it Roman who had fallen to far?
Why was it Roman who had to pick up the pieces?
Roman only could say one thing as Virgil walked out the door, leaving nothing but a destroyed relationship behind.
When he spoke, he was broken and empty.
"What did I do to deserve you?"
