One is at the highest level of the hierarchy and the other is at the lowest; yet, nothing is what they seemed to be and nothing is absolute. Trust in the calling of heart for it knew what to do, when the time comes.

"Whoa..!" Shu almost lost grip of all the files in his hands when he saw the person in his office. He wasn't expecting anybody and he certainly had never thought that he'd be seeing Dayu here today.
"Dayu..!," Shu blinked, " what are you doing here?" He saw Dayu last, during the heir's full moon's party, two months ago, "does the President know that you're here?" He could imagine President Wang Qing's face if he heard about Dayu's visit to him.
Dayu looked so happy. So was the President. It made Shu really happy and glad that he decided not to come in between the two. Of course, even if he did tell Dayu of his feelings; there's no way that Dayu would have reciprocate it anyway but it might put a dent on the friendship he had with Dayu. And he didn't want that.
"Shu..!" Dayu smiled, not responding to Shu's earlier questions, as he happily came towards Shu, hugging him. And that's when, Shu saw that Dayu wasn't alone in the room, waiting for him.
The President was also there. His eyes narrowed a little as he saw Dayu giving him a hug; but, he didn't get mad. It was a hug between friends. There's no sense of intimacy at all in it; and only the blind couldn't see it.
Nevertheless; Shu knew that the President would still feel jealous ; the man's jealous of everybody who got close to Dayu. Even friends and family. But, he's able to control it well nowadays. Like now; he just gritted his teeth and then looked away.
"Mr President! Mr Feng.." Shu addressed Wang Qing and Dayu again, formally, "to what do I owe this visit?"
Dayu gave Shu a wide smile that lit up his pretty face. Time really heals; after accepting that he'd never be able to have his first love, he had let go of him completely. And now; even though Dayu's still the prettiest person he'd ever seen, his heart doesn't skip a beat anymore. This person already belong to someone else. Now; Shu saw Dayu as a childhood friend only. His pretty childhood friend.
"What's this about?" Shu frowned as he gave a questioning look at Wang Qing, "he's scaring me..smiling like that!" He said to Wang Qing, referring to Dayu's smile and much too cheerful behaviour.
"He's scaring me too.." Qing replied, "he insisted on coming to deliver you the news personally.."
"What news?" Shu asked, looking at Dayu nervously.
"Congrats!!!" Dayu patted Shu's shoulder, "you're now the government's official head of the Scientific Department and Research..!!" He said. Shu blinked again; getting more and more confused. Shu had heard of the department but that department was the highest research department in the city and more often than not, it would be headed by a family members of the Wang. But, now, Dayu's telling him that he'd be the head of that department!?!!!?
"It's thanks to your research on the blood samples that we took from the genetically engineered protectors from the city of Kwon, that we were able to develop an antidote to the serum Dr Ma made." With the antidote, the Alphas injected with the serum were able to get rid of the alteration in their DNA, and became normal again.."
