I only saw Elio in the hallways from time to time today and it kinda makes me sad. After what happened yesterday, I want to be as close to him as possible. I finally get the chance to actually talk to him after school. I walk up to him and he looks confused and concerned.

"Hey." I say.

He doesn't reply.

"Are you okay?" I ask.

"I got an email last night and I'm a little worried." he says.

"What did it say?" I ask.

"It said that I have to meet someone at a warehouse alone." he says.

I start to wear the same confused look that he does. "Who sent you the email?"

"That's the thing that worries me, the person was anonymous." he says.

I think to myself, it's probably just Martin just messing with us. He will be sorry.

"So what do I do?" Elio asks.

"You are going to go to that warehouse." I say.

"By myself?" he asks. I see the scared look in his eyes.

"Of course not. I'm coming with you and I'll have Nick, Leah, and Abby as backup." I say.

"But what if this person is a killer, or something like that?" he asks.

"Elio, relax, it's probably some idiot trying to scare you. And who knows, if it is some killer, I promise that I will beat them up for you." I give him a smile but he doesn't look happy. "Come on, show me a smile. I promise, you are going to be okay."

"Are you sure?" he asks.

"Have I ever lied to you before?" I ask.

"No." he says.

"Then you will be fine." I say.

"Okay. I trust you." he says.

"Okay, let's go get the rest of the gang and we'll head out." I say.

When we find Nick, Leah, and Abby, I explain what is happening and what we are going to do.

"Okay so let me get this straight, Elio got an anonymous email saying to come to a warehouse, alone." Abby says.

"Yeah." I say, confirming her.

"And we are about to go with you to that warehouse as like a little support squad?" she continues.

"Not the words I would say but yes." I say.

"Are you insane? What if the person is a killer?" she asks.

"You guys are thinking of the negatives. Think of the positives. It could be just Martin. If it is, we can always beat him up and call the police." I say.

Leah moves forward. "You tell us not to think negative, and you decide to think of Martin as the person? That is just as bad as a killer."

"How?" I ask.

"I don't like to see that little brat's face." she says.

"Whatever. Anyways, are you guys in?" I ask.

They all share a look. "We're in."

I smile. "Okay, so let's go."

"Yay!" Abby says.

"What has gotten into you?" I ask.

"Um, we are about to go find a random person and beat them up. What's more fun than that?" she says.
