I awoke with a gasp, heart pounding and in a deep sweat. The room came back into view and I see Jacob over me, checking my pulse. His fingers were cold against my skin and he looked frantic. When my eyes finally began to open more, his head shot toward me and let out a gasp of relief, "I thought I was loosing you," he informed me.

I sat up a little more in the chair and realized that my throat was dry, "Water," I croaked. Jacob ran to the far side of the room and came back with a glass of water in a bat of an eye. I chug it and when I'm finished I gasp out a 'Thank you'. He sits down on his chair, looking completely exhausted and out of breath.

It was silent for a long time until I broke it, "I don't think I saw what I was supposed see."

He grunted and said, "You don't have to tell me. In fact, I'd prefer if you didn't." He then, trying to stay as much in the chair as possible, he reached over to the nearest wall and pushed the big red button. A faint noise beep sounded once, twice, three times. After a minute or two, there was a patter of feet and Jacob groaned slightly, probably at the thought of getting up, and crossed the room to the door. People came pouring in and he left as soon as everyone had managed to get in.

I noticed that I recognized most of the faces. The only two that I didn't know were the little red heads in the front. Alex noticed the confused look on my face and said, "Izzy, these are my two younger siblings that I mentioned earlier. This is Raven," he pointed at the girl and then to the boy, "And this is Zachary." They smiled and gave me a small wave. I gave them the smile back but realized that I couldn't move my hand.

"So are you gonna tell us what you saw?" asked Raven, eagerly. She was shaking with excitement. This was not what I had expected from a 'Raving Mad' girl who killed 12 people and had forced millions of people without power. But I replied back, trying to pretend that I had not heard that piece of information.

"Well I don't think I saw what I needed to see," I said looking at all the faces that were around me.

"Well tell us what you did see so we can tell you if it was what you needed to see," said Kelly.

"Well there was this beam of light that reached up into the sky and these figures were disappearing in it. But the light was fading and they were rushing to get in it. They didn't all make it through before the light completely went out," I said and watched as Alex and Kelly make eye contact with each other.

"Umm...Izzy that was exactly what you were supposed to see," Alex said looking me deep in the eye, "That wasn't a light it was the light."

"The light?" I questioned because I had no idea what the heck he was going on about.

"Yes, the Light. The light you are supposed to go in before you die," Alex answered.

"You're crazy. You the don't go into a light when you die. When you die you're nothing you can't feel anything or do anything such as going into the light."

Alex just stood there, shaking his head muttering something about, "What do they teach in schools these days."

Is he expecting me to go along with this nonsense? Because if he is, then he very wrong, very wrong indeed.
